Where is the dajjal (antichrist) hiding?

In those hadiths that refer to the End

Times, it is reported that the emergence

of the dajjal, who will orchestrate evil on

Earth and turn people away from

religious moral values, is one of the great

portents of doomsday.

The increasing violence, torture, anarchy,disorder, slaughter,war, conflict, crueltyand state and otherforms of terror showthat the dajjal hasemerged and isorchestrating all these. (Allah knows thetruth)

According to the hadiths of our Prophet

(saas), it appears that the dajjal will hidein a rocky place. In fact, the Haram Sharifarea in Jerusalem stands on rock. Thesacred rock Hajar al-Muallaq from whichour Prophet (saas) embarked on hismiraculous journey and on which theDome of the Rock was later built, standsthere. The rocky region mentioned in the

hadith is probably theHaram- Sharif wherethe Dome of the Rockand the al-AqsaMosque stand, andthis is in all likelihoodwhere the dajjal is hiding.

According to the information in the

hadiths, the return to Earth of the

Prophet Jesus (as), the coming of Hazrat

Mahdi (as) and the emergence of the

dajjal will all take place in the same

period. Our Prophet (saas) has reported

that the Prophet Jesus (as) and Hazrat

Mahdi (as) will perform the daily prayer

together. In one hadith we are told that:

Although their IMAM will be the HAZRAT

MAHDI (AS), a pure individual, THEY

WILL SEEK REFUGE IN BAYT AL-MAQDIS.

There, at a time when their imam appears

before them to lead them in the morning

prayer, they will see that JESUS SON OF

MARYAM (AS) HAS DESCENDED IN THE

MORNING. Hazrat Mahdi (as) will

withdraw to permit the Prophet Jesus

(as) to come to the fore. THE PROPHET

JESUS (AS) WILL PLACE HIS HAND ON

HIS SHOULDERS AND SAY Lead the

prayers. Because the call has been made

for you When the prayers are finished,

the Prophet Jesus (as) will say, Open the

mosque door. When the door is opened,

seventy thousand people with the shawls

around them WILL BE SEEN WAITING

WITH THE DAJJAL 1

The Dajjal Will Appear at the Beginning ofthe Century

It is also reported in the hadiths that the

Prophet Jesus (as) and Hazrat Mahdi (as)

will wage an intellectual campaign againstthe strife of the dajjal. The hadiths contain

indications of which period this struggle

will take place. In one hadith our Prophet

(saas) has told us that the dajjal will

appear at the beginning of the century:

A most significant event has taken place

at the beginning of every century since

the world was created. AT THE

BEGINNING OF ONE CENTURY THE

DAJJAL WILL APPEAR AND Jesus son of

Maryam (as) will descend to Earth and

make him ineffective.2

Another of the hadiths of our Prophet(saas) says that:

The life of this community will EXCEED A

THOUSAND YEARS, but not ONE

THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED YEARS3

Since our Prophet (saas) reveals that the

life of his community will not exceed

1500 years, it is likely that he is indicating

the 2000s as the time these great events

will take place.

In his sermon at the Omayyid Mosque in

Damascus in Hijri 1327, Bediuzzaman

Said Nursi, the great Islamic scholar,described the future of the Islamic world

after 1371, and emphasised that Hazrat

Mahdis (as) great intellectual struggle

would take place in the 2000s:

Even if it does not happen now, 30-40

YEARS LATER, equipped with these three

forces, knowledge of science and art and

the good and beneficial aspects of

civilisation, the tendency to investigate

the truth and human love, sent to the fight

against those nine hostile classes, will

meet the needs and overcome and

disperse those nine obstacles and will,

inshaAllah, eradicate them HALF A

CENTURY ON. 4

In the words half a century later, Said

Nursi indicated that the effects of

materialist, Darwinist and atheistic

philosophies would be eliminated,

through Hazrat Mahdi (as), in Hijri 1421,

in other words 2001. In another mention

of the date when Hazrat Mahdi (as) would

appear, Bediuzzaman Said Nursi stated

that Hazrat Mahdi (as) would come after

himself and that they imagined that the

century of truths in the history of the

world that WOULD COME 1400 YEARS

LATERwas close at hand, (Sayings, 318)

once again indicating that date. In anotheraccount, Bediuzzaman reported that he

was preparing the ground for Hazrat

Mahdi (as), whom he described as an

amazing individual:

I think of myself as a servant of and one

who prepares the way for that awe

inspiring individual, and a member of that

great commanders vanguard. (Barla

Addendum, 162)

The Dajjal Will Incite Anarchy and TerrorThe hadiths indicate that the dajjal will

cause strife and disorder all over the

world. The increasing violence, torture,

anarchy, disorder, war, conflict and state

and other forms of terror in recent years

all show that the dajjal has appeared and

is orchestrating these. This is revealed

one hadith:

(At that time) There will be much

CORRUPTION, DISORDER AND

REBELLION, and people will KILL ONE

ANOTHER. People will take their own

lives and the world will be filled with

sorrow. The accursed DAJJAL will appear

at such a troubled time... 5

In the Quran, Allah has revealed the

existence of people who create confusion

and damage order, who organise evil and

who constantly seek to incite war. In one

verse it is stated that:

Each time they kindle the fire of war,Allah extinguishes it. They rush about theearth corrupting it. Allah does not lovecorrupters. (Surat Al-Maida: 64)

The dajjal is the leading representative of

this immorality. He uses violence, terror

and anarchy as weapons of oppression in

order to create greater bloodshed. In

other hadiths it is reported that killing

will increase in the End Times, and that

wars incited by the dajjal will lay waste

all places:

He said: Doomsday will draw nigh,governance will be lacking, people will

adopt excessive parsimony and greed,

and there will be much turmoil.

The companions asked, What is

turmoil?

KILLING, KILLING! replied the Prophet

(saas). 6

There is no place in which the DAJJAL

WILL NOT VANQUISH ARMIES.7

The wars taking place in our time

between countries, with no valid

justification, the internal conflicts arising

from artificial causes, and the terrorist

attacks against innocent, civilian targets

are examples of the turmoil caused by thedajjal.

The Tactics Employed by the Dajjal toSpread Anarchy and Terror

In his works, Bediuzzaman Said Nursi

stressed the conflicts and confusion that

the dajjal would cause on Earth. The

Master also described the tactics the

dajjal would employ in order to spread

anarchy and terror and thus prepare the

way for Gog and Magog (portents of

Doomsday that will appear in the End

Times). Bediuzzaman tells us that:Thegreat dajjal WILL PREPARE THE WAY

FOR ANARCHY AND GOG AND MAGOG BY

DAMAGING the unificatory elements that

manage the social lives of Christians

through the indoctrination of satan and

eliminating the stipulations of

ChristianityBy seeking to eradicate one

eternal part of the law of Muhammad

(Quranic moral values imparted by the

Prophet (saas)) using earthly desires and

satanic deceptions, he will seek to

dissolve such radiant chains as respect

and compassion by leaving people at the

mercy of obstinate, drunken and random

earthly desires; HE WILL PRODUCE AN

INTENSE ANARCHY by creating a

compulsory and oppressive freedom for

people to attack one another in the

swamp of their earthly passions ... 8

Bediuzzaman describes how the dajjal

will achieve this objective:

1. By causing people to follow their earthlydesires.. BY SEEKING TO ERADICATE one eternal

part of the law of Muhammad (Quranic

moral values imparted by the Prophet

(saas)) using EARTHLY DESIRES AND

SATANIC DECEPTIONS

As the Master indicates, the dajjal will

cause people to turn away from

implementing religious moral values. He

will inculcate the idea of following their

earthy desires into their consciences.

2. By eliminating respect and compassionamong people...By damaging the physical and spiritual

unificatory elements of human life and

DISSOLVING SUCH RADIANT CHAINS AS

RESPECT AND COMPASSION by leaving

people at the mercy of obstinate, drunken

and random desires.

The devotion, willingness to assist others,

affection, compassion, love and modesty,

elements of the moral values commanded

by Allah are factors that strengthen

people physically and spiritually, bind

them together, and establish order and

solidarity in society. The dajjal willdamage this order by means of

indoctrination that eliminates these

elements. The Master is indicating this

here.

3. By keeping people under pressure...HE WILL PRODUCE AN INTENSE

ANARCHY by creating a compulsory and

oppressive freedom for people to assault

one another in the swamp of earthly

passions

In these words, the Master is noting that

in an earthly climate established by the

dajjal people will imagine themselves to

be free, but that he will actually keep

them under pressure and control. In the

system inculcated by the dajjal most

people think they lead so-called modern

and free lives by following their lower-

selves. Their tastes, amusements,

conversation and even clothing and the

food they eat represent the same

conception in line with the life style to

which they are directed. The dajjals aim

is thus to leave society ignorant and

unable to think, reflect or evaluate.

Because it is a very easy matter to lead

the ignorant. In addition, in this sytem

based on earthly desires people are led

not by their mind and conscience, but by

desires and passions, which results in

terrible confusion.

The dajjal also uses other methods to

achieve his aims. As indicated in the

hadiths, one of these is to seek to

influence society by declaring the dajjal to

be a prophet, and even divine. (Surely

Allah is beyond that)

The Dajjal Will First Announce That He Is aProphet, and Then His Alleged Divinity

In one hadith our Prophet Muhammad

(saas) has stated;

When he (the dajjal) appears

EVERYONE WILL IMAGINE HIM TO BE A

SPIRITUAL GUIDE and follow him, then,

coming to KUFA, he will continue his

endeavours in the same way ANDDECLARE HIMSELF A PROPHET. Rational

people who see this will then depart from

him He WILL THEN CLAIM TO BE

DIVINE He will say (May Allah have

mercy) I am Allah. (Tabarani related

this from the Companion b. Mutamar.)9

One of the features of the dajjal revealed

in the hadiths is that he will portray

himself as a spiritual guide, and even a

prophet. This indicates that while the

dajjal is organizing evil he will direct

people, supposedly in the name of Allah,

as if he had a religious objective. Finally,

the dajjal will declare his supposed

divinity. (Surely Allah is beyond that)

Another hadith describes this perversion

of the dajjals thus:

He (the dajjal) will first say, I AM A

PROPHET. Yet there will be no prophet

after me. He will then make a second

claim, saying, I AM YOUR LORD. Yet you

cannot see your Lord until you die....10

As is clear from the information in the

hadiths, the dajjal will manifest himself in

many different spheres. His real idea is

that he is supposedly divine. However,

since he imagines that this will have a

negative impact on

his plans if he states it

openly, he will

indoctrinate people

with the idea very

slowly. For that

reason, he will first

declare himself to be

a guide, then a

prophet, and only then divine.

The dajjals actions are suggested by

satan, who is the dajjals friend and

helpmate. Our Prophet (saas) has

reported that the dajjal will receive helpfrom satan and his friends. As stated by

our Prophet (saas), with satans help and

support the dajjal will spread the

falsehood that he is supposedly a deity.

DEVILS WILL SAY TO HIM, TELL US

WHAT YOU WISH, AND WE WILL DO IT.

He will say: Go, and tell people I am their

lord and he will disperse them in all

directions. ... 11 (Surely Allah is beyondthat)

The position of people who have fallen

under the dominion of satan is revealed

thus in the Quran:

If someone shuts hiseyes to theremembrance of theAll-Merciful, Weassign him a satanwho becomes hisbosom friend (SuratAz-Zukhruf :36)

As an indication of his lack of faith, the

dajjal is terrified of satan rather than of

Allah, and obeys the former, who

commands him to create corruption on

Earth, to encourage violence and terror,

to shed peoples blood and to lead them to

evil.

According to what can be gleaned from

the hadiths, the present period in which

the dajjal is operating in secret is when he

will suggest that he is a spiritual guide.

Certain people who are weak in faith and

mind may be affected by the dajjals claim

to be a spiritual guide. Yet as with his

supposed claim to divine status, the dajjal

is the enemy of our Lord, the prophets

and religious moral values. (Surely Allah

is beyond that) He is opposed to our

Prophet Muhammad (saas), the Prophet

Moses (as), the Prophet Jesus (as), the

Prophet David (as), the Prophet Solomon

(as) and all the other holy prophets.

Bediuzzaman also states the hostility of

the dajjal to sacred values in this wise

extract;

The dajjal has characteristics that

encourage hypnotism of the spiritualist

kind A denier who lives solely for

worldly ends attacks sacred values with a

bare-facedness and courage born out of

lack of faith. 12

When the period in which

the dajjal openly declares

his alleged divinity arrives,the Prophet Jesus (as) will,

by the leave of Allah, make

him ineffective and destroy

all his snares.

He May Deceive Most People with FalseMiracles

It is revealed in hadiths that the dajjal will

employ various deceptive methods in

declaring his supposed divinity and will

perform false miracles with the help of

satan:

One of his corruptions is this; He will say

a Bedouin, Tell me! Will you believe I amyour l ord if I RESURRECT YOUR MOTHER

AND YOUR FATHER? The Bedouin will

say, Yes. At this TWO DEVILS WILL

APPEAR IN THE FORMS OF HIS MOTHER

AND FATHER 13

At this, the dajjal will ask the villains he

leads; Now if I kill this man and then

bring him back to life, will you then

believe in my divinity? 14

One of his corruptions is

this: He will call a single

person, kill him AND CUT

HIM UP WITH A SAW. That

persons body will be cast

away in two pieces. The

dajjal will then tell those

around him, Look at this

servant I have killed. I SHALL NOW

BRING HIM BACK TO LIFE.15

As can be seen from the information

provided in the hadiths, the dajjal will use

false miracles to have people accept his

claims to supposed divine status. Less

intelligent people will imagine these are

literally miracles. The fact is, however,

that a miracle is a blessing from Allah to

His servants. The extraordinary

phenomena displayed by the dajjal are

mere incitements, in other words, are

miracles created by Allah to test people,

of the sort seen in unbelievers.

Islam scholars point to these false

miracles of the dajjals and state that he

may employ techniques such as magic or

hypnotism. Bediuzzaman has desribed

this aspect of the dajjal:

And the worst of these, the DAJJAL,

POSSESSED OF EXTRAORDINARY

EVENTS LINKED TO SPIRITUALISM AND

HYPNOSIS, will go even further anddeclare his false and imaginary divinity

(Surely Allah is beyond that) 16

As stated by Bediuzzaman, the dajjal may

deceive people who lack sufficient

knowledge or whose faith is weak, using

deceptive techniques such a hypnotism

and dsplays of magic. The false miracles

and deceptions perpetrated by the dajjal,

at a time when the whole Christian world

is awaiting the return to Earth of the

Prophet Jesus (as) and the Jews are

awaiting the Messiah, may cause many

people to be deceived by the dajjal.

The Dajjal Will Be the Worst Foe ofMuslims and the People of the Book

In the hadiths our Prophet (saas) has

stated that while the dajjal inflicts

disaster on mankind he may appear to be

doing good. In one hadith it is stated that:

When the dajjal appears, he will bring fire

and water with him. But what the people

SEE AS FIRE WILL BE FRESH WATER, and

what the people SEE AS WATER WILL BE

BURNING FIRE. Whoever lives to see that

day, let him be willing to fall into what the

people see as fire, as that is fresh, cold

water. 17

According to the information in the

hadith, the dajjal will lead people to the

fire, in other words, encourage fighting,

conflict, war and bloodshed while giving

them the idea that he is performing good

deeds. As we have already seen, in doing

this he will influence people by depicting

himself as a spiritual guide or even a

prophet. The hadiths indicate that some

Christians and Jews will fall under the

dajjals spell. The dajjal will appear to be

benefiting Jews and Jewish society, and

will also stage-manage Christians by

appearing to benefit them. By the use of

this tactic he aims to ruin both sides and

inflict terrible defeats on them. Therefore,

the dajjal is the greatest enemy of both

Christians and Jews.

One hadith reveals that although they

know the dajjal is a denier some people

will come under his influence through

being deceived by worldly gain:

Some people will converse with the dajjal.

And they will say: WE KNOW THAT HE IS

AN UNBELIEVER; we are his friends so

that we can eat his food and benefit fromhis tree. When the chastisement of Allah

comes, it will come to the dajjal and all of

them. 18True believers who abide by the moral

values of the Quran and the Sunna of our

Prophet (saas), however, will be aware of

these ruses of the dajjals and will

recognize his snares through the light of

their faith and will not be taken in by

them. Warning people against the

violence and bloody terror of the dajjal,

and making them aware of these, is a

duty of people of conscience.

Freemasonry: The Dajjals Secret ArmyThe Mason shrine in which Masongatherings take place.Our Prophet (saas) has indicated that the

dajjal will act in secrecy:

The dajjal will set out and come first to

the gate looking onto the east of the city

of Damascus HE WILL BE SOUGHT, BUT

HE WILL NOT BE CAUGHT He will then

be seen by the side of the waters of the

river of Jerusalem HE WILL BE SOUGHT,

BUT NOBODY WILL KNOW WHERE HE

HAS GONE. 19

It is indicated in the hadith that the dajjal

will be sought, but he will not be caught,

which indicates that he will act in secret.

The dajjal will act slowly and deeply,

without making people uneasy or

drawing attention to himself, until the

time comes for him to come out into the

open. Throughout this period secrecy will

be the most important thing for the dajjal

and his followers, and they will secure the

support of secret organisations for that

purpose. As a requirement of this secrecy,

the dajjal will establish and lead secret

state organisations and act literally like

an invisible force. This will enable him

to organise corruption in a very

underhand manner. Bediuzzaman Said

Nursi also noted that the dajjal would

attract support from such secret societies

as the masons:

...THE DAJJAL WILL DECEIVE THE

MASONS, and since they gain his

SUPPORT they will imagine they have

intense dominion 20

As the Master makes clear, the dajjal will

use world freemasonry as a kind of secret

army. Secret decisions against Muslims

will be taken under the leadership of the

dajjal, and these will be put into practice.

In fact, the resemblance between the

pressure, difficulties and attacks to which

Muslims all over the world are exposed is

agreed by one and all. This is important

evidence that the activities in question

are being orchestrated from a single

centre. Bediuzzaman Said Nursi has

stated that the dajjal will put pressure on

the Islamic world and inflict hard and

troubled times on devout Muslims:

...Harmful and powerful individuals such

as the dajjal will lead hypocrisy and

atheism, and will make use of a persons

hypocrisy and desires to wreak confusion

among people with little expenditure of

effort, and will TAKE THE WHOLE

WORLD OF ISLAM CAPTIVE.21As can be seen from the Masters

statements, the dajjal will unite

unbelievers and atheists against Muslims

and act as their leader. He will make use

of peoples desires and hypocrisy in order

to turn them away from the truth, thus

causing turmoil and strife.

The Prophet Jesus (as), As aProphet Who DisplaysMiracles, Will Put an End toAll the Strife of the EndTimes.Our Prophet (saas) has

imparted the glad tidings

that all the strife of the End

Times, particularly that of

the dajjal Messiah, will be

eliminated by means of theProphet Jesus (as). As stated in the

hadiths, the Prophet Jesus (as) will return

to Earth and confront the dajjal in

Jerusalem, and when the dajjal sees him

he will dissolve like salt in water. Just

the Prophet Jesus breath will be enough

to do away with the strife of the dajjal:

At that point, when the DAJJAL, THE

ENEMY OF ALLAH, SEES THE MESSIAH,

THE PROPHET JESUS (AS), HE WILL

DISAPPEAR LIKE SALT DISSOLVING IN

WATER.22

AS THE DAJJAL SPREADS CORRUPTION,

ALLAH WILL SEND THE MESSIAH, JESUS

SON OF MARYAM (AS)Every unbeliever

COMPREHENDING HIS HEALING POWER

will disappear. Jesus (as) will meet the

dajjal at the Gate of Lud

(near the al- Aqsa Mosque

in Jerusalem) AND WILL

DESTROY HIM.....23

Bediuzzaman explains how

the snares and deceptions

of the dajjal, and the lies

that bring people under his

spell, will be eliminated

through the Prophet Jesus

(as):

Only a WONDROUS AND MIRACULOUS

INDIVIDUAL ACCEPTED BY THE PEOPLE

can eliminate that savage dajjal who

protects himself and bewitches everyone

through such false miracles as magic and

magnetism and spiritualism, and alter the

course of his actions, and that individual

is the Prophet Jesus (as), the prophet of

all mankind. 24

As the Master tells us, since the dajjal

deceives people through various false

miracles, acts with the support of satan

and performs some extraordinary deeds,

the dajjal can only be vanquished through

the holy Prophet Jesus (as), various of

whose miracles our Lord has spoken of.

By the will of Allah, the elimination of the

strife of the dajjal by the Prophet Jesus

(as) will be very quick and easy.

By the literal eradication of the strife of

the dajjal and the End Times through the

Prophet Jesus (as), the Earth will be filled

with justice, security and plenty. Those

who mistakenly think that the Prophet

Jesus (as) will not return to Earth will

certainly suffer a grave defeat in the face

of this. These people will both rejoice andalso regret what they said in the past

when they see how wise the return of the

Prophet Jesus (as) is and how the most

intractable problems are resolved

through him.

IS THE UNDERGROUND OF THIS REGIONPREPARED FOR THE COMING OF THEDAJJAL?

It is reported in hadiths that the Prophet

Jesus (as) will destroy the Dajjal near the

Gate of Lud:

Then the Prophet Jesus WILL SEEK OUT

THE DAJJAL and eventually catch up with

him at the Gate of Lud NEAR THE MASJIDAL- AQSA, AND WILL DESTROY HIM.1

Jesus (as) will meet the dajjal at the Gate

of Lud (NEAR THE MASJID AL- AQSA IN

JERUSALEM), AND WILL MAKE HIM

INEFFECTIVE.2

As reported in these hadiths, the fact that

the Prophet Jesus (as) will seek the dajjal

out is definitive proof that the dajjal will

be hiding. Again according to these

hadiths, the dajjal will be near Jerusalem.

The Bayt al-Maqdis is the name given to

the sacred area where the Haram Sharif,

which contains the al-Aqsa Mosque,

stands. This thus indicates that the centre

of the dajjals activities will be around the

al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to another hadith, the dajjal

will emerge from a rocky place:

.... (Dajjal) will appear from a rocky place,

and spread intensive mischief around (by

sending troops everywhere).3

In fact the Haram Sharif region is a

structure with a rocky base. The sacred

Hajar Muallaq from which our Prophet

(saas) embarked on his miraculous

journey and on which the Dome of the

Rock was subequently erected is also

here. The rocky region referred to in the

hadith is in all probability the Haram

Sharif, with the Dome of the Rock and the

al-Aqsa Mosque, and the dajjal is in alllikelihood hidden there.

The rocky nature of the area means that

other areas can be constructed under the

al-Aqsa Mosque. As we know, there have

been constant excavations under the al-

Aqsa Mosque since the mid-1990s. The

area where the al-Aqsa Mosque stands is

the same area where the Jews maintain

that the Temple of Solomon once stood.

According to Jewish belief, the temple of

Solomon will be rebuilt when the Messiah

comes prior to Doomsday. There is a

strong likelihood that the dajjal has made

use of this belief to build a secret place of

worship, saying that he will rebuild the

Temple of Solomon. Yet this state of

affairs is only temporary.

As for his real objective, this is to tear

down the al-Aqsa Mosque and then to

announce his own alleged divine status.

(Surely Allah is beyond that)

HOW TO PROTECT ONESELF FROM THEDAJJAL

It will only, of course, be possible for true

believers to be protected against the

dajjal who will lead mankind into terrible

strife. As in all periods, at this time, too,

Muslims sincerely devoted to Allah need

to be unified among themselves and to

live fully according to the proper moral

values commanded by Him. Almighty

Allah reveals this in a verse from the

Quran:

The believers are brothers, so make peacebetween your brothers and have fear ofAllah so that hopefully you will gain mercy.(Surat Al-Hujurat: 10)

As stated in the above verse, all believers

are brothers. However, the brotherhood

of believers is one that demands a highly

altruistic state of mind. For that reason,

believers must be very considerate of one

another and hold their brothers interests

above their own at all times.

Believers must love one and watch out for

another for the approval of Allah.

Naturally, when faced by such a great

strife as that of the dajjal, Muslims must

not seek out one anothers flaws or

oppose one another over minor details.

Quranic moral values command that they

should embrace one another. The best

behaviour will be for there to be no

rancour between Muslims, for differences

to be overcome in the event that any such

exist, and for these to be replaced a warm

and sincere climate. In addition, good

thoughts and mutual assistance must

predominate in dialogues between them,

and all differences and negative factors

that might give rise to competition and

claims of superiority must be eliminated.

Muslims must display as much love for

one another as possible, cast opposition

aside and strive to attain true

brotherhood. Believers must exclude

nobody, but always seek to win over

everyone and lead them in the direction

of truth and goodness. In this way,

believers can exhibit a structure capable

of withstanding the strife of the dajjal.

Those who are unbelievers are the friendsand protectors of one another. If you donot act in this way there will be turmoil inthe land and great corruption. ( Surat Al-Anfal: 73)

Another very important point is this: thestage we are living through, the EndTimes, is when people abide by Quranicmoral values to the letter and arestrengthened in their beliefs. An individualor a society deprived of the miracles of theQuran and signs leading to faith isreferred to as ignorant. The lack of suchknowledge in a person who is unable toproperly recognise and appreciate themight of Allah has a significant effect.Therefore, the reading of books, visitingInternet sites and watching films aboutQuranic miracles and signs leading to faithwill prevent that ignorance and be ameans whereby people attain a powerfulfaith. Allah has revealed in the Quran thatonly the wise, in other words those wholive by Quranic moral values and knowthe proofs of Allahs creation, fear Him asthey ought: And mankind and beasts andlivestock are likewise of varying colours.Only those of His servants with knowledgehave fear of Allah. Allah is Almighty, Ever-Forgiving. (Surah Fatir:28)

When believers apply this scrupulously

and encourage people to live by Quranic

moral values they will, by Allahs leave,

have built the most reliable shield against

the strife of the dajjal that will enfold thewhole world. This is set out in these terms

in the Quran:

Let there be a community among you whocall to the good, and enjoin the right, andforbid the wrong. They are the ones whohave success. (Surah Al Imran :104)
