Private Treaty for Our Customers For 25 years we have been selling our seedstock on our ranch by private treaty. This structure has worked out well for us

and customers in the past, and we plan on continuing this approach. By selling private treaty, it gives us more time and

ability to fit the right bull to your situation. We like to have time to show you all of your options and answer any and all

questions you may have. As our customer, we want you to have a non-rushed, relaxed experience, and this is what pri-

vate treaty allows for.

Each Spring we develop our bulls to be at their peak athletic condition. Athletically built bulls are proven to be more

efficient breeders, have higher fertility, and be less likely to become fatigued. We are not in the feeder business. There

is no reason to over feed and fatten bulls. Our bulls are fed a grain ration and free choice brome hay to produce an aver-

age daily gain of 3.4 lbs. Free choice mineral and salt are provided to maintain fertility and help development. Two gain

tests are performed during development in the winter months, and scrotal measurements are taken at one year of age.

All bulls are current on their vaccinations before they are sent out to pasture.

Athletic Development

Breeding Program Our breeding program is heavily influenced by the use of AI breeding. Each year we evaluate our females and their past

offspring to decide which direction to take the genetics. We look at body conformation, EPD’s, udder quality, docility,

fertility, and many other characteristics in order to produce offspring that is genetically superior to that of their parent’s.

We are extremely proud of our herd sires and are confident in their ability to produce superior Gelbvieh and Balancer

bulls.

Maintaining calving ease and efficiency with high performance is a top priority in our program. Life is to short to be

having calving problems that eventually cut into your pocketbook.
