The Absolute Yovel , or Jubilee, isYHWH’s way of counting as opposed toman’s. As we will see, history proves

YHWH’s timing and man’s timing are twodifferent things.

The Jubilee happens once every 50years, when land returns to its originalowner and slaves are freed. The Jubileeis also a good metaphor for freedom andun-making the status quo when Y’shua

comes back. Let’s see the Scripture… 3

Count off 7 Sabbaths of years -7 times 7years -so that the 7 Sabbaths of years

amount to a period of 49 years. Then havethe trumpet sounded everywhere on thetenth day of the 7th month; on the Day of

Atonement sound the trumpet throughout

your land. Consecrate the 50th

year andproclaim liberty throughout the land to allits inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you.Each one is to return to his family property

and each to his own clan. The 50 th yearshal l be a jub i lee for you ; do not sow

and do not reap what grows of itself orharvest the untended vines. For it is a jubilee and is to be holy for you; eat only

what is taken directly from the fields. In

the seventh year if we do not sow or gather

in our crops?” Then I will so order My

blessing for you in the 6th year that it willbring forth the crop for 3 years. 'When

you are sowing the 8th year , you can still

eat old things from the crop, eating the olduntil the 9th year when its crop comes in.

(Leviticus 25:20-22 NAU)

This is more proof of a 50 year cycle. The

7th Shabbat, or year 49, means the crops

lie fallow. The same applies to year 50—

the actual Jubilee, meaning the cropsmust last for 3 years as YHWH promises,

but only if they keep the RIGHT year!

Year 50 = 8th year, when you can sow forharvest on the 9th year, the first year of the

new seven cycle!

In Leviticus 18:24-28, Israel is warned theywill be expelled from the land as theCanaanites were being expelled if theydisobey.

This actually is clarified in Leviticus 26:34:“Then the land will enjoy its Sabbath yearsall the time that it lies desolate and you are

in the country of your enemies; then theland will rest and enjoy its Sabbaths.”

What this means is that if the LandSabbath isn’t kept, YHWH will make sure it

gets made up by kicking Israel out. 8

The Jubilee is the climax of the Land

Sabbath cycle, the next step up from day =

year reckoning.

But the Jubilee is also keyed to when a

large group of Israel enters Canaan. When

the Northern Tribes went into Captivity,

leaders in Judah assumed there were notenough Jews left in the Land to worry

about Land Sabbath-Jubilee bu t they

were dead wrong… 9

He carried into exile to Babylon the remnant, who

escaped from the sword…The land enjoyed its

Sabbath rests; all the time of its desolation it rested,

until the seventy years were completed in fulfillment

of the word of YHWH spoken by Jeremiah.”

So YHWH punished both Israel and

Judah, in part for not keeping the Land

Sabbaths and Jubilees.

But as the Scripture shows, YHWH

begged Israel to obey and escape

punishment , so His c lock for their

Jubi lees began in 1405 BCE w ith theassumpt ion of an eternal inher i tance

and therefore an eternal stay. That

But first we need to go back to the

beginning. Everything is keyed to the

start of YHWH’s Deliverance Cycle, or

in plainer terms, the time of theExodus.

Fortunately, Scripture is abundant in its

details to tell us not only the year of theExodus, but the very day as well. First

let’s look at these direct time references

from the Scripture… 13



All About YHWH's Jubilees and Shemittahs

In the 480th year after the sons of

Israel came out of the land of Egypt, in

the 4th year of Solomon's reign over

Israel, in the month of Ziv which is the 2nd month, that he began to build the house of

YHWH. (1 Kings 6:1-NJB)

Solomon then began building the house ofYahweh in Jerusalem…on the 2nd day of

the 2nd month of the 4th year of his reign.

There is near universal agreement among

historians that Solomon’s 4th year was

967 BCE. This is based on the careful

scholarship of E.R. Thiele (The MysteriousNumbers of the Hebrew Kings) and many

others. (W.S. La Sor, Old Testament

Survey, 253, 292-7).These dates are further cross-referenced

in Assyrian and Egyptian records, such as

the well-documented invasion of Shishak.16

Pharaoh Shishak threatened Judah in 1

Kings14:25-28 and his own records also

detail the same campaign.

This happened in Rehoboam’s’ 5th year, or

926 BCE, which is a milestone we can

cleanly count backwards to Solomon!

There is even more precise chronological

information in 2 Chronicles 3:1: The 2nd

day of the 2nd month of Ziv in Solomon’s

4th year. 17

In 967 BCE, this brings us in Gregorianterms to April 16th for the exact day thatSolomon began building the Temple!

This level of precision again should not besurprising. The Scripture contains theactual records that were lovinglypreserved from the most ancient times onforward.

And there is extremely strong evidencethat a literal approach was intended

because the data came from priests. 18

The same priests who gave the Exodus

date are also telling us the precise days,

months and years that each king of Israel

and Judah ruled, so why not also take

them at face value on the date of the far

more impo rtant Exodus date?

That brings us to 1447 BCE as the year ofthe Exodus, and the day of the spring full

moon was March 22nd. Then there’s 40

years of wandering right after this. 19

But, because this date of 1447 BCE is so

critical, I am going to deal with

additional evidence supporting the

reign of Solomon as 971-931 BCE andthe invasion of the Pharaoh Shishak into

Israel and Judah in 926-925 BCE.

First, let’s correlate that invasion with datafrom the Biblical record: the 5th year of

King Rehoboam (1 Ki 14:25, 2 Chr. 12:2)

so we can see how Judah counted time! 20

The Thiele system just mentioned is the

most widely accepted chronological

reckoning by far in scholarly community.

However, there were a few very minor

issues that Thiele himself said needed

further attention but which he did not

clarify prior to his death. For these minorissues another scholar —Leslie

McFall—further refined the chronology

so “Thiele-McFall” is what we call it now. 21

In this system, the kingdoms of Judah and

Israel counted time differently.

The kingdom of Judah counted their

years Tishri-Elul (fall to fall).

They also fluctuated between counting

from the part of a year that a king

ascended to the throne (accession year

reckoning) and from the next new year’s

day of Tishri 1 as year 1 (non-accession

year reckoning). 22

However, we also know the precise times

that Judah fluctuated between accession

and non-accession year counting,,,

1) From Rehoboam to Yeshosophat:

Accession year system.

2) From Yehoram to Yoash: Non-accession

year system.

3) From Amaziah to Zedekiah (including

Yehoikim): Accession year system. Our

focus is on period #1… 23

So now we turn to the reign of Judahite

king Yehosaphat, on the Tishri-

Elul/Accession year system. He comes

to the throne in 870 BCE and dies in 848BCE.

His son, Jehu, will reign in the Northern

Kingdom from 841 BCE to 814 BCE,starting from the 23rd year of Yoash in

Judah (2 Kings 13:1). 1-2 Kings is on

Judah time reckoning. 24

So going by Judah based time, both it and

the Assyrians counted on the Accession

Year system at this moment in history.

It is therefore highly significant that

Assyrian records also mention Jehu,

King of Israel: “The tribute of Jehu, son of

Omri: I received from him silver, gold, agolden bowl, a golden vase with pointed

bottom, golden tumblers, golden buckets,

tin, a staff for a king [and] spears." 25

This same text, the Black Obelisk of

Shalmanessar III, dates the campaign to

the 17th year of his reign, or 841 BCE.

The advantage of Assyrian records—in

addition to the fact that they count time the

same way that Judah did—lies in the fact

that there is universal consensus amongscholars as to the years they depict. The

Assyrians were the most precise and clear

time-keepers in the Middle East! 26

From this data we can count from the

Biblical record seamlessly back to

Shishak’s invasion in 926-925 and also

Solomon’s 4th year in 967 BCE, becausewe now know the exact rules of

counting behind both Assyria and

Judah.But we should also take into account

the rival reckoning system used in the

Northern Kingdom of Israel after this… 28

This same Assyrian king, Shalmanessar

III, mentions an even earlier Israelite

king—Ahab—by name as well.

Ahab is said to have provided 2,000

chariots and 10,000 men to this king’s

enemy, Hadad-ezer, also known as Ben

Hadad II.

Ahab and Ben Hadad II had 3 battles

against each other, the last one being in

the year Ahab died (1 Kings 22:1-40). 30

However, the previous battle between

Ahab and Ben Hadad II was three years

before Ahab’s death, or 856 BCE, and

this is another fixed date that we cancount backwards to hit Solomon’s time.

But the final piece is, as I said before, to

talk about how Ahab’s kingdomcounted time and how this was different

than Judah’s system. Here’s how i t

worked … 31

The Kingdom of Israel counted their time

this way per Thiele/McFall…

1) Unlike Judah which counted fall to fall,

Israel counted spring to spring (Abib-

Adar).

2) Israel used a non-accession year

system from the reigns of Yeroboam toYehoaz. They then switched to the

accession year system from Yehoash to

Hoshea, their last king. 32

That means that Ahab counted time under

the older Israelite reckoning: Spring to

spring/Non-accession year system.

Using those rules will bring us to the exact

same range of years we saw by using

Judah and Assyrian models, so all

systems agree with each other , eventhough different methods are in place with

each one! Those same records combine

with Egyptian and Biblical data… 33

This evidence is confirmed by Shishak

himself in his own monument which dates

the campaign to that exact time. When

everything is put together, all the ancientwitnesses then point to the 5th year of

Rehoboam—and therefore Shishak’s

invasion of Judah—as 926-925 BCE.Shishak lists dozens of cities throughout

the region. If Jerusalem is not mentioned

directly, he was still quite near it. 34

Many Egyptologists think one reference to

Shishak at Karnak—it reads YWD MLK—

is referring to “the monument of the king”,

which is in Northern Israel.

The problem is, Karnak is all about

recording the monuments of nearly all the

kings of Egypt, so why single out Shishakin one of his own monuments right there?

And the man who f i rs t deciphered

hierog lyph ics had ano ther op in ion . 35

Jean-Francoise Champollion, who gave

Egyptologists the breakthrough

understanding of Egypt’s ancient

language, believed that Shishak’smonument at the official king’s list at

Karnak read: YWD (Youda = Judah) MLK

(kingdom).In other words, Shishak does claim

collecting tribute from the Kingdom of

Judah, just as Scripture says! 36

In addition, the most widely accepted

range of Shishak’s reign harmonizes

nearly perfectly with the Scripture, 945 to

924 BCE. Shishak’s own monumentdates the campaign to his 21st year .

The slight challenge is answered with the

fact there are two campaigns recorded,starting in Israel at year 20, then Judah

in year 21, which crosses 925 BCE.

However, the final “discrepancy” between

Scripture (926-925 BCE) and the way the

Egyptian dating appears to read (925-924

BCE), is because Egypt counted stillanother different way from Judah!

First, Egypt reckoned their years

summer to summer; Judah counted fallto fall. Second, even though both counted

from accession year , Egypt’s new year hit

first, giving them an EXTRA year. 38

As a result, the 20th year of Shishak

(counting summer to summer) would

most certainly cross 926 BCE,

completing a year 2+ months before Judahwould count theirs.

945 BCE would count TWICE, once before

summer started, and once after, and theend of the range would also add an extra

year by the time Judahite reckoning

“caught up”. It loo ks l ike this … 39

We also have to make the final calculation

from Moshe’s time that counting switched

to the spring for the year (Exodus 12:1-2)

which in turn was intercalated by theJudahite historian of 1-2 Kings on their fall

to fall system.

When all the pieces come together, theyall prove that 967 BCE is Solomon’s 4th

year . Now let’s look at counting Jubilees

from the Exodus in 1447 BCE… 41

Jubilee #1 was in 1356 BCE, 50 yearsafter the entrance to Canaan began.

As a result, in Gregorian terms, the

Absolute Yovel must happen twice acentury, with BCE years ending in -06 and-56. (This is because of Jubilee Zero, alater topic.)

No year 0 and the last BCE Jubilee is 6BCE. Subtract 5 years to get to 1 CE, sofirst Jubilee in CE time is year 45, next 95,and so on. Here’s counting method # 1.

In addition to these 50 year cycles movingforward from Moshe’s time, Scripture hastold us there have always been “JubileeRules” in effect even back to Adam.

What I mean is this concept: Obey YHWHand stay in your land, or disobey anddie or leave!

While the Jubilee has all land revert to itsoriginal owner, ultimately the originalOwner of the whole earth is YHWH.

What we are looking for then are eventsfrom Eden to just before Moshe whereYHWH took back the ENTIRE EARTHfrom man. We call these events “Proto-

Jubilees”. These “PJs” have only happened twice

(Adam and Eve expelled from Eden; theFlood), and must be added to our list ofregular Jubilees for tracking Y’shua’sReturn.

So now our list looks like this… 46

So now, if this Jubilee counting method is

correct, we are now in the 70th Jubilee

since Adam.

On the day = year/land sabbath cycle,

Daniel 9:24-27 predicted Y’shua’s death to

the exact correct day from 500 years out!

Daniel also predicted Y’shua would die inthat cycle’s 70th week, which he did!

Therefore, since Y’shua left us in the

middle of the last 70th cycle, the best

scenario available is that he will return

during the next 70th cycle.

By this method, or “Long Count”, adding

the Proto-Jubilees puts Y’shua’s return

no later than 2045.The other method (Straight Count)

would not count the PJs so its 70th Jubilee

means Y’shua returns 100 years later.50

Right now, based on my current

understanding, the bulk of evidence

seems to point to the EARLY return,

before 2045.

Later we will see this comes from

incredible patterns in and around the

2000th anniversary of the resurrection, in2030.

For now though, there is one more Jubilee

to discuss… 51

In order for all the cycles to align with

perfect precision, we need to deal with an

additional mechanism I call “Jubilee Zero”.

Briefly, “Jubilee Zero” is a place holder

that is meant to act as a buffer between

Pre and Post Moshe Jubilees.

We might think of this in terms of what wewould call a real estate trust.

While Israel “wanders”, YHWH is truly

testing them to see if they will be ready

for their inheritance. He never says to

them during this period: “you haveinherited” but always “you will inherit”, and

even that is conditional in Deuteronomy

upon them keeping His Torah. TheCanaanites have their territory removed

from their care due to wickedness and it

goes “in trust” with YHWH as Executor. 53



Foundations

Then, in His timing, YHWH transfers the

“deed” of Canaan to Israel on His own

terms. So, all Jubilees end their cycle

with this transfer of property.Then, because Jubilee rules were in effect

prior to Moshe, there must be a “year

50” AFTER the 40 years of wanderingended when the land transfers from the

Canaanites to YHWH and from YHWH

to Israel.54

It is only after the “probation” that YHWH

certifies the real estate trust and transfers

the deed of Canaan to Israel in the spring

of1405 BCE. Again, because the land has changed

owners, 1406 must be a year 50

because neither the Canaanites nor theIsraelites own it! It has gone back to

YHWH “in escrow!” And here’s proof! 55

Yahweh spoke to Moses, in the desert of

Sinai, in the 2nd year after the exodus

from Egypt, in the first month…(Num 9:1)

In the 2nd year, in the 2nd month, on the20th day of the month, the cloud rose from

where the Dwelling of the Testimony was,

and the Israelites set out, in marching order,from the desert of Sinai. The cloud came to

rest in the desert of Paran. (Num 10:11-12 )56

So this is two years after the Exodus

happened, or 1445 BCE

The Exodus is a re-setting of time (Exodus

12:1-2), and in 1447 BCE, we begancounting to completing a year 1, so it is

“Year 0” and not “Year 1”.

Nissan of the 40th year (Rashbam;

Josephus, Antiquities 4:4:7), after the entire

generation of the Exodus had died (Rashi;

Bachya; Abarbanel; but see Deuteronomy2:16). There is no information about what

happened during the 38 intervening years,

other than the travels mentioned in Numbers33:19-36 (Ibn Ezra).

And this brings us to one critical event that

will help prove the timeline further…

“For 40 days you scouted out the country.

Each day will count as a year so for 40

years you will bear the consequences of

your guilt and learn what it means to rejectMe.” (Numbers 14:34-Matara)

This curse on Israel then is rooted at some

point in the 2nd year after the Exodus, or

year 3, depending on how you want to

count.That means by the 40th year from the

actual Exodus itself, we have 2 more

years to go before the “wandering curse”is officially lifted by Abba YHWH.

But look at Deuteronomy 1:3 for this… 60

It was in the 40th year, on the 1st day of

the 11th month, that Moses told the

Israelites everything that Yahweh had

ordered him to tell them. (Deuteronomy 1:3NJB) and contrast this with…

Moses was 80 years old and Aaron 83,

when they spoke to Pharaoh. (Exodus 7:7NJB)

Now let’s crack the time code… 61

Deuteronomy 31:2, 34:7 puts Moses’ age

at 120 years, and yet before the start of

the spring in the Exodus year, Moses was

80 years old!This means 11+ months have passed

after Moses turned 120 and he is pretty

close to his 121st birthday on the day hedies; otherwise the Scripture timeline

doesn’t work. 62

Next, Deuteronomy 34:8 says that Moses

was mourned for 30 days after he died,

but that brings us only to 39 years of

wandering being completed, not 40!That 39th year is finished at the start of the

spring of 1406 BCE. This means that

Joshua must wait another year beforeattacking Jericho and that year is none

other than Jubilee Zero!63

So this Jubilee Zero is not just a

theoretical placeholder or mathematical

concept.

It’s actually embedded in the Torah textitself as a historical fact! It’s a time for the

land to reset ownership from the

Canaanites to Abba YHWH before Hetransfers it to Israel the following spring in

1405 BCE. Here then is the l ist o f years ! 64

While the first 50 year cycle is being

generated, the Shemittah counting would

come first, every 7 years from 1406 BCE.

That makes years 1399, 1392, 1385,1378, 1371, 1364 and 1357 Shemittahs.

Then on Yom Kippur 1357, the shofar is

Jubilee.

So now our list breaks down this way…

There is one final proof I need to offer on

the spring of 1405 BCE.

It has to do with actual chronological

information in the book of Joshua that tellsus so much info, we can actually

reconstruct an entire month!

And then we can match that to actualastronomical data like this…

The Israelites pitched their camp at Gilgal

and kept the Passover there on the 14th day

of the month, at evening, in the plain of

Jericho (15th begins). On the next day afterthe Passover (the 16th), they ate what the

land produced, unleavened bread and

roasted grain. The manna stopped the dayafter they had eaten the produce of the

land (the 17th). (Joshua 5:10-12)

So let’s break this chronology down…

1st it’s the late afternoon on the 14th when

the lamb is killed, the sun sets, and now

the 15th of Abib has just begun.

The Hebrew then says in 5:11 that they

ate old parched grain on mi-macharath

(from the morrow) after the 14th ended,and this needs some additional

explanation… 73




Lev 23:14 says they can’t eat fresh

roasted grain until the 16th. Also, the

Hebrew day starts and ends at sunset. So

the first half of the Hebrew “day” is indarkness and the second half is from

dawn to sunset.

Since the morning is the LATER half of theday, Hebrew distinguishes between dawn

ON the same day and dawn on the NEXT

day.74




If it were just the following “morning” or

“dawn” attached to the CURRENT Hebrew

day that started the previous evening 12

hours prior, it would be simply calledboker or shachr i t .

But if it says macharath it’s actually the

morning 36 hours after that previousevening. A l l th is br ing s us to the 16 th o f

Abib, two morn ings af ter the 14 th ends! 75




So much for 5:11, except we should alsonote that it is daytime on the 16th when

they are eating the fresh roasted grain.

Therefore, when macharath appears asecond time, in 5:12, we must count to the

morning attached to the next Hebrew

day too—the morning of the 17th.It’s here that we get a very important

So this is literally the last time the mannaever falls for Israel.

If we can just figure out what day of the

week it had to be when the mannastopped falling, we can solve the

puzzle! And Tanakh does tell us this…. 77




'Eat it today,' Moses said, 'for today is a

Sabbath for Yahweh; you will find none in

the fields today. For six days you willcollect it, but on the seventh day, the

Sabbath, there will be none.' On the

seventh day some of the people went out tocollect it, but they found none. (Exodus

The only day the manna stopped falling onwas the Shabbat!

This same day was the one after the 16th,

or the morning of the 17th of Abib.

Therefore the 17th of Abib MUST also be

a Shabbat! And we have an actual year to

work with and prove it’s “Jubilee Zero”—1405 BCE. We can now check that year

and find out if the days match!79

First, I believe it is absolutely certain theShemmitah-Jubilee cycles were ignored in

the First Temple period, from 960 to 586

BCE.Leviticus 26:34-36 warned the Land would

get all the Sabbaths back that had been

ignored or misapplied.To accumulate 70 years of rest requires a

minimum of 490 years of apostasy, plus

10 more years for the 50th

year.93





That brings us to 500 years of apostasythat we can be certain of. Since the

Temple was destroyed in 586 BCE and

only stood 374 years, that puts theneglect of the Land Sabbath squarely in

the time of the Judges.

Here is what Scripture also tells us aboutthat time: No Passover like this had ever

been celebrated since the days when the

judges ruled Israel. (2 Kings 23:22 NJB)94





So while Judah and Israel compromisedon Passover, only the priests remained

loyal to serving YHWH in Jerusalem.

In the teaching on Aaron’s calendar we willsee also how the system could easily be

put “back on line” even when things like 70

years of captivity stopped all services.But in YHWH’s Mind, Shemittah, Jubilee

and Pesach are all part of the same

process of marking sacred time.95





The question is, can we see how thesecycles of Jubilees and Land Sabbaths

work in real history?

We have only one source for LandSabbaths being recorded in ancient Israel

to particular years—the historian

Josephus.Up until now, historians have found it very

hard to find a consistent pattern with the

years Josephus identifies as shemittahs.96





Indeed it does seem that noCONSISTENT system can reconcile the

Land Sabbaths Josephus names: 164,

135 and 37 BCE and 37 CE.However, as we will see, Josephus does

give us enough history on the challenges

from this time to let us know whyconfusion crept in.

Let’s look at our first example…. 97





164 BCE: Death of Antiochus Epiphanes.

This Antiochus died in the 149th year : but it

was Lysias that declared his death to the

multitude, and appointed his son Antiochusto be king, (of whom at present he had the

care,) and called him Eupator. (Antiquities

12:361)149th year (from the founding of the

Seleucid Empire in 313 BCE = 164 BCE 98





At this same time…

But as for the temple of Jerusalem, he lay at

its siege a long time... But then their

Shemittah years from that time would

Shemittah clearly shows the correct 50year cycle is being counted at this time in

When his father, Simon Maccabeus, was

assassinated at Jericho by his son-in-law Ptolemy,John succeeded in escaping from those sent by

Ptolemy to murder him also. From Gadara, where

where the people gladly received him as Simon'ssuccessor (135 BCE).

Our calendar once again agrees withJosephus!

In this case the nearest Jubilee to 135

BCE would have been 156 BCE.From there the Shemittahs would have

been: 149, 142, 135, 128, 121, 114 and

107.But this next example appears to throw

a wrench into the works… 104





When the rigor of winter was over, Herod

moved his army, and came near to

Jerusalem, and pitched his camp close bythe city. Now this was the third year since

he had been made king at Rome.

(Antiquities 14:465)3rd year = 37 BCE = “Bad” Shemittah

They persisted in this war to the very last:and this they did while a mighty army lay

around them, and while they were

distressed by famine and the want ofnecessities, for this happened to be a

Sabbatical year . (Antiqities14:475 and see

also 15:7)But by these same rules that have worked

until now, 35 BCE should be a Land

Sabbath, NOT 37 BCE! What happened?106





The calendar worked clearly up until 135BCE, when Hyrcanus became high priest.

But less than a century later, the timing got

messed up.There is only one explanation for what

happened here as all other attempts to

have one system work throughout thisperiod have failed: They switched

counting methods!107





After 135 BCE, Josephus records lengthyrivalries between the Pharisees and the

Sadducees.

From this time until 10 BCE, these twosects alternated being in charge of the

calendar of Israel, and each side had a

different method for reckoning the Hebrewyear.

It is also during this period that the Jubilee

itself became forgotten and called year 49108





This inconsistency in timekeeping is alsorecorded in the Talmud, where some

rabbis said the Jubilee itself was not

important to keep separately.So after 135 BCE, they switched to a 49

year cycle. They should have declared

106 BCE a Jubilee but it was 107 instead.Then 49 years later, their Jubilee was off

by a second year, coming at 58 BCE, so

37 BCE 21 years later was a Shemittah109





But in 10 BCE, the great Rabbi Hillel theElder got the calendar back on the right

counting. (Not the same Hillel as the one

who released the Rabbinic calendar in 359CE!)

This was the same calendar that Y’shua

himself endorsed, the one the Phariseesof his day “sat on the throne of Moshe” to

administer. Here’s what the Talmud said… 110





Our Rabbis taught: Since the death o f thelast p rophets, Haggai, Zechariah and

Malach i , the Holy Spir i t [of p rophet ic

insp irat ion ] departed from Israel ; yet theywere still able to avail themselves of the

Bath-kol. Once when the Rabbis were met

in the upper chamber of Gurya's house atJericho, a Bath-kol was heard from Heaven,

saying: 'There is one amongst you who is

Hillel’s motivation to reform the calendarcame from the fact that high priests were

dying every year on Yom Kippur, probably

because they went into the KadoshKadoshim on the wrong day!

Even if the Talmud numbers are

exaggerated—300 high priests are killed inthis manner —it still fits well in this period,

from 135 to 10 BCE. Take a look… 114





Rabba bar Hana in the name of R. Johanansaid: It is written [in Proverbs x. 27]: "The

fear of the Lord increases man's days, but

the years of the wicked will be shortened.""The fear of the Lord increases the days";

that refers to the first Temple, during whose

existence of four hundred and ten yearsthere were only eighteen high-priests. "The

years of the wicked will be shortened," refers

to the second Temple, 115





which existed 420 years, and more than300 high-priests succeeded each other

during that period. Subtract the forty years

during which Simeon the Righteousministered, eighty years of Johanan the

high-priest's ministry, and ten years of

Ishmael b. Fava--according to others, elevenyears of R. Eleazer b. Harsum--and

compute, you will see that not even one

high-priest completed his year . -Yoma 9a116





Part of the problem is the traditional dateof 432 BCE for the destruction of the

First Temple is 154 years later than the

date accepted by 99% of historians, 586BCE.

If we adjust for that discrepancy, we can

fit many Yom Kippur deaths of highpriests happening from 135 to 10 BCE,

or 4 generations of deaths that would have

felt like much longer to Israel. 117

The rest of the evidence, detailed in Wheelof Stars, shows how the secret calendar

was passed down from Moshe to David

(setting up the 24 courses under Aaron’sinstructions) to Josiah and finally to Ezra.

After Ezra’s time, the only worthy

person with right knowledge to havethe Shekinah was Hillel the Elder,

“Ezra’s disciple” and then the NT tells us

the High Priests stopped dying each year!118

The reason was this: It is clear that Hillelthe Elder patched the calendar back to

these original 50 year cycles, and

instituted other reforms that brought itback into alignment.

Then when Y’shua talked about

“proclaiming the year of YHWH’s favor” inLuke 4, he was referring to the Jubilee

year that began at his conception and the

Land Sabbath that was his death year. 119

The last Jubilee was 6 BCE, so now wehave to cross the timeline with no year

0.That makes 2 CE the first Shemittah.

It would be followed by 9, 16, 23, 30, 37 and 44!

This means 30 CE, the year Y’shua died,

was also a Shemittah! He talked about“release of the captives” in Luke 4 and

released the captives in Sheol after he

Since he was reading in Hebrew, it’s notsurprising that the Aramaic text is a perfect

translation of this key terminology.

And after this Y’shua mentions “the year ofYHWH’s favor” which is definitely

These years align with Scripture and with

history, even showing us when Israelforgot how to do the right thing which

invited disaster on their heads, as YHWH

Not surprisingly, the Talmud is notalways in agreement with this.

Sometimes it says the 50th year was

deemed irrelevant and other times theRabbinic chronology there is clearly way

off the mark and incorrect historically.

For example, Rabbi Yose, the author of a2nd century CE work known as Seder

Olam, was a disciple of Rabbi Akiba.127




Rabbi Yose wrote that the year theSecond Temple was destroyed was either

a Land Sabbath or the year after a Land

Sabbath, depending on how one Hebrewphrase is translated.

However, 70 CE was neither . The Land

Sabbath nearest the destruction wasactually in 66, the same year the Revolt

started, and the next one was in 73.128




The major problem is that the Rabbisconsistently assumed that they didn’t have

to count the Jubilee or Land Sabbaths for

long periods of time, due to captivities ofboth kingdoms and a wide variety of other

disruptions.

As a result, their count got corruptedfrom YHWH’s continuous counting

method from the fixed time of the

Exodus… 129




The question of whether 700 BCE (i.e. theyear starting in Tishre of 700 BCE) could

have been a Shmita can be examined by

looking at references to possible Sabbaticalyears in Scripture and elsewhere. In this

endeavor, the time of the First Temple

should be considered separately from the

time of the Second Temple and later, due to

evidence that the counting of the Sabbatical

years was interrupted during the exile.-Wikipedia

I will deal with 700 BCE in a moment.

However, it’s the earlier statement I want

to focus on…that the counting of years

was interrupted during the exile, whichmost scholars agree with. And for me,

that’s the exact problem! 131




Again, Abba YHWH assumes eternalobedience and therefore eternal and

continuous occupation of Israel. His

count never stopped.The Rabbis however disagreed…the

Scripture we went over earlier (1

Chronicles 36:20-21) proves they countedwrong. So even if Rabbi Yose got his

count from Akiba, it comes out of that

wrong system that destroyed them! 132




Many scholars though over the years(Zuckerman, et. al.) have tried to deduce

Shemittahs from Scripture, but they either

are counting from 49 years (wrong) orthey are dismissing the continuous

clock that Abba YHWH requires, or both.

Of the possible Scripture cites for FirstTemple Land Sabbath (and again they

didn’t keep it right), 700 BCE is the only

truly intriguing one… 133




'Then this shall be the sign for you: you willeat this year what grows of itself, in the

second year what springs from the same,

and in the third year sow, reap, plantvineyards, and eat their fruit.” (2 Kings 19:29

NAU)

This is 700 BCE, and notice the fruits willsustain Israel for three years…exactly

what Scripture promises for years 49, 50

and the start of the new cycle! 134




In our system, as we saw, BCE years in -06 and -56 are YHWH’s intended

Jubilee years.

Therefore, 706 BCE would have been thenearest Jubilee…starting with the

announcement the previous fall in 707,

with the actual Jubilee hitting in spring of706. This brings us to spring of 699

BCE for the Land Sabbath.135




But that doesn’t mean 700/699 is the“real” time of a Jubilee…in fact the very

text argues against it being so.

The text says, “This will be a SIGN foryou”. By definition a SIGN is something

out of the expected natural order, like a

virgin birth being predicted in Isaiah 7:14.Or, it’s a BANNER heralding a major

change, of the seasons or of man.136




That being the case, three years ofsustained crops would NOT be a “sign”

in the three years between 49, 50 and the

new cycle…it would be EXPECTED thatsuch would happen because YHWH

PROMISED that automatically when they

kept the right timing!

Here’s the proof according to the

Scripture… 137



As a result, there is no compellingevidence whatsoever that the

Jubilee/Land Sabbath cycles were

accurately and intentionally kept duringthe First Temple period.

This is also true for the 70 Land Sabbaths

to be “missed” (490 years in all) for thedestruction of the Temple in 586 BCE to

make sense.139




Earlier in this discussion we explored alittle bit the Early Return Scenario, or

“Long Count”.

With the Exodus fixed to 1447 BCE,Biblical data tells us also when to start

counting 50 year periods from Israel’s

entry into Canaan.We saw in our study of Daniel 9, that

Y’shua left in the middle of the 70th week… 140




Therefore Y’shua could very well return inthe middle of the only 70th cycle open to

him, the Jubilee or Yovel.

So since the Long Count puts us in that70th Jubilee since 1995, it is possible

Y’shua will return before 2045 on this

system—or perhaps during 2030, the2000th anniversary of the resurrection!

But there’s also more evidence…. 141




What we are about to discuss is a topicthat is so important, that even in this series

I have to teach it at least 3 times.

It’s called “The 153 code” and it is one theof the most powerful pieces of evidence

for a potential early return of Y’shua.

The combination of the 153 and what I call“the 25th priest” are the heart of the

argument for the early scenario… 142




But after that discussion concludes, I alsowant to wrap up with a discussion of the

Later Return Scenario—or “Straight

Count”—so named because it counts“straight” in 50 year increments from the

entrance into Canaan.

The “Proto-Jubilees”, or the 2 timesYHWH took the earth back from man, are

We arrange each course across the grid ofa solar year. In BCE time, we have chosen“mirror year formulas” or CE years thatmirror the exact Gregorian intervals of leap

days (Feb 29th) as well as other Gregorianrules, such as not having leap years in -00years that are not divisible by 400.

Then, we let the computer do the work.The courses will “float” without breaksfor “Great Feasts” when all priests wouldhave served at once. 147




Neither the Constellation Clock nor theearthly priests would have “paused” forGreat Feasts either. The course on dutywould “count” and the rest were there to

help.Because there are 52 weeks in the year,

24 divisions then would each serve twice,and the remaining weeks would be filled

with the first few courses (1,2,3…). Theresult is a pure floating system in pureSolar Time. But if all this sounds a bit“intense” it comes down to a very “low

tech” approach

When we roll out the years in Gregoriantime, we find that at the end of 23 years,these floating courses will return course 1to the same date it started at: Friday,March 21st, and it does this both forwardsand backwards with perfect precision!

So from 1446 BCE forward , course 1returns to Friday March 21st in 1423 BCE,then 1400, then 1377, etc.

And from 1446 BCE backward it gets toFriday March 21st 23 years prior, in 1469BCE, which is the start of our clock so asto include the previous year when the

Exodus happened in a 23 year cycle.So from 1446 BCE forward , course 1

Each time from the start of the clock (1469BCE) that a 23 year cycle is completed isalso recorded so here 89 BCE is the 61st time the 23 year cycles have passed from

the start time (23 Year Cycle Count).The final field, course count tells us

which 276 year cycle has occurred fromthe beginning of the clock. So, if the year

The main unit of measure: 276 years for

each heavenly “course” to be on duty.Now let’s multiply that number by the

At first the significance of a 6,624 year“Super Cycle” didn’t seem that great, until

we added another 276 year period.

This looks like the heavenly fulfillment ofDaniel 9:24-27’s 70 weeks to me: 7weeks + 62 weeks = 69.

Now that Y’shua’s return cycle has shiftedup to the Jubilee scale, so too do thesenumbers fit into units of 100. (Theheavenly multiplier of the 69 weeks is

100). After the 69th week, Daniel says that

So in order to get to 6,900 we literallyneed one more course to serve to

complete the pattern, one more course

than Scripture gives us.

Let’s look at the final (25th) course that

completes the symbolic pattern. This 25th

priest CANNOT be Y’shua because he

after understanding this) have shown

me additional evidence for the Later

Straight Count and Later Return



The lack of the Proto-Jubilees in theJubilee Count here, as we saw recently,

puts us now only in the 68th Jubilee by

this system, not the 70th when Y’shua is

supposed to return.

We call this “Straight Count” because it

continuously ticks forward from the

entry into Canaan only, with each 50

years counting as an interval.194




When I first published “Wheel of Stars”in 2010, it was basically an interim

report for my findings up until that

time. I knew there were certain things I

was still researching.

For example, I was not sure which of the

ancient counting systems I should use

for the ages of patriarchs when they

had a son.195




This ancient collection was hopelesslydeadlocked. We had the Hebrew or

Masoretic traditions, the Greek or

Septuagint traditions, the chronology of

Josephus, the Samaritan Pentateuch and

others…all fundamentally in disarray with

all the others!

These differences were everywhere…

For example, Adam was 130 and Seth 105when they each had their sons in the

Hebrew tradition but 230 and 205 years

old respectively on the Greek side.

In many other places, the Greek continued

to add a century to what the Hebrew had,

and others would agree or disagree

inconsistently. It was basically chaos on

all sides with no way to harmonize in

sight… 197




To try and deal with this problem, Isuggested a “double witness” rule.

This meant that two witnesses or more

had to agree on the age of a patriarchfor the testimony to be accepted.

After months and checking and re-

checking my math, those calculationsbrought me to exactly 4000 BCE for the

creation of Adam.198




However, since one calendar mechanismbalanced in 4000 year intervals, I began

to wonder if the creation of Adam could

go from the “estimate” of 4000 BCE to

a “hard” date of 4007 BCE.

This was because the first signs of

Y’shua’s birth showed up in the heavens in

7 BCE, exactly 4000 years later…

Though the idea was promising, I couldn’tprove anything further on the matter

and said so in “Wheel” openly. Both

4007 and 4000 BCE were estimates.

But in 2011 I began to make progress on

the matter. A very good friend proved to

me that only Hebrew intervals were

divinely inspired!

She showed me, for example, that Abraham was born according to the

Hebrew 1,948 years after Adam’s creation

and in 1948 Israel became a state.

Shortly after that time, I found many

other proofs showing the “divine

watermark” on the Hebrew intervals,

but there was also a catch that threatened

to have me fall into a trap of many others

who struggled with this… 201




The Torah had never given us the yearto count time FROM, or “Year Zero”,

and I had known for years that the

traditional Rabbinic date for the creation of

Adam, 3761 BCE, was incorrect. Rabbinic

time was wrong!

There were nearly a half a dozen other

huge mistakes—e.g. 432 BCE for the

Temple’s destruction, not 586 BCE, that

proved to be a major discrepancy. 202




But at least the Rabbis did preserveand agree with the intervals in the

Hebrew text, and that was a very good

thing!

Armed also with the fixed date of the

Exodus, I could count backwards or

forwards in Hebrew intervals from

Friday, March 22nd, 1447 BCE, and

recover the entire chronology!203




When I did that, I found that the Rabbiswere short of the required amount of

years by 140.

This brought Adam’s creation yearfrom 3761 BCE (Rabbinic) to 3901 BCE.

There were also several special

alignments that particular year as well thatare worth noting…

While lunar months are not used to counttime until Moses, the ancients

nevertheless recognized the importance of

aligning lunar and solar cycles, even

though there was no “Tishri 1” in 3901

BCE per se.

I should also point out that 6,000 years

ago there was no “Metonic cycle” for

people to use… 205




The Rabbinic Calendar though, were itbeing used back then, would have picked

March 2nd as the start of Abib, and that’s

way too early.

As explained in Wheel of Stars, the start

of Abib can only be the new moon

nearest the start of spring, which

means the Rabbinics are a month out

of date in 3901 BCE calculations.206




This manifests also down the line, wherethe Wheel calendar shows 1 Tishri for a

new moon, the Rabbinic shows 1

Heshvan in 3901 BCE.

That disclaimer aside, it becomes very

important to align the start of this year

with the Fall Equinox, just as Moses

will later align it to the Spring

Equinox… 207




This year is also complicated by a veryrare oddity: It is one of 3 times in 400

years that Julian will call for a leap day

(Feb 29th) which Gregorian calls normal

and leaves at 365 days. That will throw

off the real day count if we don’t adjust

for it.

Also in order to extend Gregorian’s

accuracy for this far back, we need to

make a tweak in its counting… 208




In Joshua 10, the “sun stood still foralmost a full day”.

Later, in Isaiah 38:8 the sun went

backwards ten steps to show a miracle.If we take these cites literally, Abba YHWH

has in effect “patched” our Gregorian

calendar. He knows we use this systemnow and that it loses a day every 3,323

years.209




That happens because the estimatedGregorian year is just a very little bit longer

than the actual tropical year, and over

millennia that little difference will exceed

24 hours.

But with Abba YHWH in effect “pausing

time” at strategic points and telling us

so, this problem is eliminated, and we

will not lose a day going back to 3901

BCE! 210




In addition, it is possible to very easilytweak our Gregorian calendar so that it

will not lose a day in 19,500 years…just

don’t count the year 4000 CE as a leap

year!

So there is no reason not to use Gregorian

to recover ancient dates--neither it nor the

Julian were around in Tanakh times, so we

might as well use what is most accurate.

But Adam was made on… 211

have been seen in the stars… The exact time of the first new moon of

fall (what would later be Tishri 1)

(GREGORIAN), 3901 BCE WHICH IS…

And is also the SIXTH day of the week,

agreeing with Genesis that this is whenman was created!

When the sun sets on this day, it is also

precisely the Shabbat!In other words, all cycles perfectly align

with one another on all systems, and that’s

a rare beauty!213




But here’s what all this has to do withY’shua’s Second Coming…

If we now have the proper place to start

counting from, Friday, September 24th

,3901 BCE...

…We can also count from there to our

time and beyond. Currently in Rabbinictime, we are now in the year 5773 (as of

November 2012).214




Adding 140 years to this brings us to5,913 years from Adam’s creation to

November 2012.

From here, remember that the LaterReturn adds as much as a 100 years to

Y’shua’s return—or no later than 2145

CE.

As of 1995 by this count, we entered the

68th Jubilee. 69 starts 2045 and… 215




Jubilee 70, the one in which Y’shua mustreturn, would then start in 2095 and end in

2145, the very outer edge of my range.

The key though is this: If November 2012is year 5,913, we have only 87 years to

go before year 6,000!

Before we saw the Early Return use 6900

years to point to the 70th week (69 x 100

per generation).216




Now it seems the math on this systemis also pointing to the Millennial Rule

but in “days” of 1,000 years each, and

this is of course backed up by Scripture in

two places.

If each “day” is a time of “work” then the

seventh and last “day” must be the

Shabbat, a time of freedom and

rejoicing…a perfect time for Y’shua to

return to us, as we see here… 217




A Prayer of Moshe, the man of Elohim. Adonai, You have been our dwelling place in

all generations. Before the mountains were

born or You gave birth to the earth and the

world, even from everlasting to everlasting,

You are Elohim. You turn man back into

dust And say, "Return, O children of men."

For a thousand years in Your sight are like aday when it passes by, or as a watch in the

And of this one thing, my beloved, be notforgetful: That one day to Master YHWH, is

as a thousand years; and a thousand years,

as one day. (2 Peter 3:8-AENT)

So from Moses to Peter, this timing of a

day at 1000 years is set up firmly in

Scripture. It is a second math witness

bringing Scripture truth about when Y’shua

may decide to return!219




And here’s where plugging in the actualyears brings it all together…

The 70th Jubilee starts in 2095, but the

6000th

year from Adam starts in 2099,which crosses the 3 ½ to 4 year period

after the Jubilee begins!

To me, this is huge, because I have

never taken a Pre-Trib or other-Trib

position! Instead, I only focused on when

Y’shua might return. But… 220




…it is possible I may have to reconsider IFthe Later Return option is the right one.

Because for the Later Return ONLY, it

seems that Pre-Trib math is hardencoded in the system!

In other words, first the 70th Jubilee

starts and then Tribulation happens

immediately, with year 6000 right at the

end of that time exactly!221




If this counting is correct, then it clearlyproves a Pre-Trib position for Y’shua’s

return.

But the remaining question is this: Howcan we know whether the Early or Later

Return scenario is the correct one?

At this moment, I favor the former, but I

can’t disprove the latter with this new

evidence that strengthens it.222




The other possibility of course is that theevidence allows these two possibilities for

the simple reason that Abba YHWH wants

it that way!

We are not to know the exact hour of his

return…but Y’shua did chide the

Pharisees for not recognizing the general

signs that he was coming the first time, so

we may know the range if not the actual

tip the balance between the scenario
