What’s your Vision?

“I have travelled the world to reveal God’s ideals and His providence in order to actualize the vision of world peace on the basis of God’s original plan. To this end, I have established many international organizations. But the path is long, and there remains a lot of work for all of us to do. What is the ideal of God? It goes without saying that the original ideal of God is to realize a peaceful world. In such a world, there are no divisions or conflicts. It is a world filled with unity, harmony and joy. – Sun Myung Moon

We need a vision:

• To create something of significance and value and to leave a legacy

• To give us direction and motivate us to take action

• To give us meaning and purpose• To make life exciting and inspiring• To fulfil our God given potential

Otherwise we will fall into these traps:

• “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten.” - Henry Ford

• “Being realistic is the most commonly travelled road to mediocrity.” – Will Smith

Instead let’s consider these:

• “I think that there is a certain delusional quality that all successful people have to have. They have to believe that something different can happen from what has happened until now.”– Will Smith

• “The Kingdom of Heaven... starts from the point where we actualize the visions of our heart.” – Sun Myung Moon

Another exercise

• “What one great thing would you dare to dream if you knew that you could not fail? If you had no limitations, if you had all the time, money, talent, skills and contacts you could ever want, what would you want to do or be or have in your life?”
