• Four Different Modes:

1. SAToP = Frame agnostic DS1/DS3 (RFC 4553)

2. CESoP = Frame aware NxDS0 (RFC 5086)

3. CEP = SDH Container (VC12, VC4, VC4-Xc) based (RFC 4842)

4. TSoP = Full SDH Frame + TOH (not a Standard!)
