Ask about our Literacy Program
Message from the Executive Director
Liz Jack
As we welcome our members and visitors
back, it’s heartening to see communities
once again connect with the services and
programs they love at their local library.
We’re excited to now be able to provide modified Early Learning and
Adult Learning programs at libraries right around the state, in line
with public gathering restrictions.
Your local library can link you to a range of programs, services and
learning opportunities—whether it be for recreation, gaining new
skills, discovering your past, researching family history, or simply
connecting with others. And we can help you explore the online
world with digital and information programs.
Adult literacy and numeracy support is now available, and we are
again offering Storytime, Rock & Rhyme and school holiday programs
for families and young people.
Adult Education classes are also open, with a range of classes being
offered, including languages, fine arts and photography. Visit the
Adult Education website to enrol.
We hope you enjoy what’s on offer this month at your local library.
Please just remember to observe all public health guidelines, including
practising good hand hygiene and physical distancing in our libraries.
And if you’re unwell, please wait until you’ve recovered to visit us.
Contact your local library to explore your options today!
