Halloween Fun at The Beach HouseMonday 26th - Saturday 31st October,12noon until 2.00pm

The Beach House, at Roker Beach, will be celebrating Halloween with afternoons of spook-tastic activities in its bistro. From Monday to Friday children of all ages visiting the bistro will have the chance to get creative and messy by decorating various shaped biscuits with icing and other yummy treats.

On Saturday 31st join us for extra activities, with a face painter also on hand throughout the afternoon to transform the mini chefs into ghostly ghouls and other scare-mongering characters. Visitors are also encouraged to dress up in fancy dress for the occasion with special prizes up for grabs for the best costume.

A Halloween-themed menu will also be available including chopped-fi nger fi sh sandwiches and bug-shaped burgers.

A special awards dinner is set to be hosted in honour of Sunderland AFC Ladies debut season in the Women’s Super League 1.

The Lady Black Cats enjoyed a successful fi rst season in the Women’s top fl ight, kicking off the season in style with a win against Liverpool, and going on a six match unbeaten run, which included victories over Chelsea, Everton and Bristol City.

Young Black Cats fans can join club mascots Samsonand Delilah for a very special Christmas celebrationthis December.

Members of the offi cial junior supporters club will be able to enjoy an action packed afternoon at the Stadium of Light with Santa Claus making a special guest appearance, handing over early Christmas presents, whilst there will also be stadium tours, including the chance to go into the home team dressing room,before running down the tunnel to the pitch, just likethe fi rst team.

Comedy stalwart, Royston Vasey, famous for his outspoken character Roy Chubby Brown will be discussing his life behind the scenes at a special evening held at the Stadium of Light.

The stand-up comedian from Grangetown, Middlesbrough is famous as much for his sarcastic blue humour as he is for being a gentleman off it. To this day the 70-year-old maintains a huge following, performing at theatres up and down the country.
