Legislation CalRecycle administers Oil Payment Program PRC 48600 - California Oil Recycling

Enhancement Act Up to $11 million provided annually To Local Governments For Used Oil and Filter collection programs

PRC §§ 48690 and 48691

Applicants must have a used oil collection program which includes one of the following:

1. One CCC for every 100,000 residents, or 2. Used oil curbside collection - once a month, or 3. A combination of used oil curbside collection

and one CCC for every 100,000 residents, and Have a public education component of used oil

recycling opportunities.

50% - at least half and substantial coverage

25% - less than half related and substantial coverage of other subjects

Primary focus: Not eligible for reimbursement if used oil and used oil filter collection and recycling is not the primary focus, and it is only incidentally mentioned.
