Air Bag void-fill system machines have been designed to be fast, productive and easy to use, providing on demand Air Cushions to meet end of line packing requirements.

Today they require no compressed air supply, run in automatic or semi-automatic modes and use pre-formed film that inflates to create continuous strips of Air Cushions that can be torn away and packed quickly and easily.

Both large and small bubble films are available in pink antistatic grade. Bubble bags and sheets are also an ideal packaging medium for sensitive electronic parts.

Black conductive bags and tubing provide basic shielding against antistatic fields. They are tough, puncture resistant and re-useable. Manufactured from linear blend polyethylene with added carbon, they are heat sealable and can be re-cycled. Stock sizes are available on request.

Metallic shielding bags offer a total barrier protecting the product from harmful static interference. Pink antistatic bags dissipate static charge minimising the effect on the enclosed product. Many sizes are available.

Loosefill chips are an excellent packaging product for void filling and protecting products from shifting in transit. It is also versatile enough to hold small, light products and heavy, bulkier items without the risk of damage. We can supply you with polystyrene loosefill and Greenfill which is the 100% natural and biodegradable alternative to polystyrene. Both are stocked in 15 cu.ft. bags

Polyethylene foam is an ideal product for interleaving and wrapping. It is also an excellent product for absorbing knocks and providing surface protection to prevent scuffs. Foam can be converted into sheets, bags and also perforated on the roll. Many widths and thicknesses are available.

Foam is a resilient material for cushioning and barrier applications. High performance protective packs can be produced for light, medium and heavy duty applications. Well designed foam packs can give reduced material and transport costs.

To optimise any design specification needs that you may have, we can consider your foam requirements in conjunction with any corrugated carton packs and other packaging materials such as printed tape, offering you, the complete solution.

Tissue papers are available in various sizes, colours and qualities. We stock acid free tissue for use when tarnishing is possible and cap tissue for general wrapping. White newsprint offcuts are used as a cheaper alternative to kraft or as a void filler.

Wrapping papers are available in pure, imitation and common brown qualities. Pure is made from wood pulp and is best suited where strength and appearance are needed. Imitation is made from recycled fibres and used where appearance and strength are less important. Common brown is 100% recycled paper and the cheapest. Many other specialised kraft papers are available.

The single faced corrugated paper is still a competitive form of protection material and comes in sizes from 42mm to 2000mm width with most sizes being held in stock.

Re-sealable bags are ideal for numerous applications. There are many sizes available both plain or with write-on panels for product referencing. They can be printed with your company logo subject to minimum quantities.

Layflat tubing is a continuous roll of polythene sleeving used for making various length bags. A sealer may be used to make perfect bags. A number of different film widths are held in stock – these can also be printed and are available in antistatic variations.

Manufactured from a high quality kraft paper outer, with brand leading Sancell protective bubble film cushioning, your products will arrive with your customers in excellent condition.

There are three main types of tooling/machinery for applying polypropylene strapping. The combination tool is a one piece tool used on a flat surface suited to smaller packages. A 2-part system that includes a separate tensioner and sealer can be used on more awkward items. Semi and fully automatic bench top strapping machines are available where faster throughput is needed.

Hand polypropylene strapping varies in width, length and tensile strength. It is safe and easily disposed after use. There are various forms in which the strapping is supplied and printing is also available.

Clear Stretch Film is an effective way to stabilise pallet loads and protect against dust, dirt and moisture.

There are two types of film:

Cast film which has good clarity and holds goods much tighter whilst in transit

Blown film which has a high tack (achieved by additives) and is a cheaper alternative.

Both are available from stock in standard widths and grades.

Black stretch film is excellent for added security and hides valuable products during transit reducing the risk of pilferage.

The strong grade of this stretch film gives it excellent load stabilising properties.

The universal, lightweight and robust stretch film dispenser is available for 400mm and 500mm width film and can accommodate 38mm, 50mm or 78mm cores. Smaller dispensers for the mini roll are also held in stock.

A wide range of tape products is carried including general packaging grades, masking tapes (including high temperature grade), reinforced tape, protection film, double sided and gummed paper tape. Standard printed texts and many other specialist tapes can be supplied to suit your specific needs.

The facility for printed tape with your company’s logo or any design you may require is also available. Printing is possible on tape widths from 12mm to 150mm with up to four print colours on a base of white, brown or clear. Small print runs are possible.

Numerous types of tape dispensers can be supplied from stock. Some dispensers are designed to suit a particular type of tape and advice can be given as to which dispenser would suit your needs.

To avoid ‘tape splitting’, the optimum temperature range for the storage of pressure sensitive tapes is 15-25°C. Also light, particularly ultra-violet rays, can cause the deterioration of the adhesiveness.

Wiper rolls provide the ideal solution for many situations helping to maintain a safe and clean environment. They are ideal for use with oil and grease, absorb on contact and do not easily break up when wet.

Not only are premium quality medium-weight and heavy duty black bags stocked, but the range is further enhanced with clear and various coloured bags to help segregate different waste types.
