What’s New with Manager?Toon Boom Manager has been up and running for some time, affording us the welcome opportunity to implement improvements based on industry feedback. We are proud to introduce Manager’s latest features, beginning right now:

Improved fi ltering Improved fi ltering options now help you refi ne how you organize your time and information. Manager gives you the option to fi lter the comments report, search scenes via a range fi lter and sort by multiple conditions. Even administrative tasks are simplifi ed, thanks to a fi lterable billing report.

Jam-packed approval systemManager’s jam-packed approval system allows you the fl exibility to confi gure your own parameters, or take advantage of one of four pre-confi gured approval stages: Pending, In Progress, For Approval and Approved. You will also take in more information at a glance with the new approval status light indicator.

Monitor progress in real-time Manager gives you the power to monitor progress in real-time, from the automatic tracking of scenes assigned to you (with the added benefi t of an automated notes alert), to on-time status tracking. You can even automatically recalculate timelines based on estimated and actual dates.

Reporting capabilities have grown exponentially, as well. Post reports based on the job, project or user overview.

Good things come in multiples: view multiple clips per scene in Manager, upload multiple clips and set multiple - and completely confi gurable - conditions per scene.

Simplifi ed interfaceManager’s simplifi ed interface makes even more information available to you on the home page, including an improved stage system that automatically converts weighted values to percentages.

The fact that Manager uses HTML5 means that you have interactive graphs at your disposal. In fact, improved visual feedback is one of Manager’s key features; Gantt and pie charts provide detailed information in graphic form, while a more descriptive activity log, along with roles and privileges displayed in table form, provide important information in one quick glance.

Improved integrationImproved integration is another plus! It is now possible to create scenes in Harmony directly from Manager, while the latter’s messaging system is now integrated with email capabilities.

You can also import the frame count fi eld from Storyboard Pro and Harmony straight into Manager.

Improved invoicing systemManager offers an improved invoicing system, with an ability to control billing and produce detailed reports. The software also performs batch operations.

All this, plus even more improvements, an extensive help section, tooltip options and bug fi xes!
