Case Merge feature added to Compass People PCRs 14520, 15027, 15028, 15029, 15035, 15259

Enhancement New functionality has been added to Compass People to allow users to merge duplicate cases. Access to this feature is granted through the new Can Merge Cases privilege.

This feature should not be used by users of Compass CoPilot for iPad®. CoPilot for iPad will support this feature in a future release.

Reason To allow users to clean up data by merging redundant information.

Recipient pool management enhanced PCRs 15292, 15293, 15296, 15297, 15299

Enhancement Changes have been made to the recipient pools feature to give users greater control when editing a tick list.

When editing a list, users will now see a green arrow next to the user who, at the time of opening, will be selected next. Additionally, the new Refresh button has been added to the Manage Recipient Pool window. When clicked, this button opens the new Next Suggestion window which shows the next recommended worker.

Workers saving changes to a tick list will now be prompted to select the next user to be recommended for a task. The suggested worker order will continue from this selected worker in the order the workers are listed in the tick list.

Finally, recipient pools are now locked when they are being edited. This prevents multiple people from attempting to edit a pool at once. Activity timers have also been put in place; these will prompt users to select if they need more time to edit or if they have finished their edits.

Reason To allow pool managers to manage tick lists more efficiently.

Sync duration now displays in Compass Connect for iPad via Box PCR 15352

Enhancement Compass Connect for iPad now displays the sync duration when a sync from Connect successfully finishes.

Reason To quickly provide the user with additional information about the Pilot sync.

Compass CoPilot for iPad® now links to Apple® Maps PCR 15350

Enhancement Compass CoPilot for iPad users can now access Apple Maps directly from a member's address. When users select the address link for a valid address, Apple Maps launches. Users must have location services enabled on the iPad.

Case usability improved in Compass CoPilot for iPad PCR 15351

Enhancement The list of cases in Compass CoPilot for iPad has been modified for improved usability. The casehead name now appears before the case number, and the font size and weight have been increased. The case list is now sorted first by casehead name, then by state case number and local case number.




Reason To improve visibility in bright conditions.

New global exception handler error message PCRs 15398, 15399, 15400, 15401, 15402, 15403, 15404, 15405, 15406, 15471

The global exception handler error message appears when a user with incorrect DMS credentials attempts to open the following modules retrieving document types or keywords:

• Compass Capture/Capture Kiosk • Compass Connect • Compass Documents • Compass Forms • Compass People • Compass Self Scan Kiosk

The global exception handler error message appears in Compass Tasks when a user with invalid DMS credentials using OnBase 11 or OnBase 12 selects a task associated with a document. A user with invalid DMS credentials accessing any administration option that requires retrieving document types or keywords will also see the error message. The message is different based on the error and the user’s DMS.

Reason To improve troubleshooting.

If a user opening Compass Capture or Compass Capture Kiosk has invalid credentials, the global exception handler error message that appears now displays details of the error.

Connect PCR(s) Feature Description 15405 If a user opening Compass Connect has invalid credentials, the global exception handler error

message that appears now displays details of the error.

Connect for iPad via Box PCR(s) Feature Description 15352 Compass Connect for iPad now displays the sync duration when a sync from Connect successfully

finishes.

CoPilot for Android 10.1” Tablets PCR(s) Feature Description 15385 When Compass CoPilot for Android forms are synced to Compass Pilot, the forms are flattened in a

background process and are no longer displayed during sync.

CoPilot for iPad PCR(s) Feature Description 15310 When Compass CoPilot for iPad users play or record audio, navigate away from the Audio screen,

and then return, the audio timer is now updated. 15350 Compass CoPilot for iPad users can now access Apple Maps directly from a member's address. 15351 The list of cases in Compass CoPilot for iPad has been modified for improved usability. The casehead

name now appears before the case number, and the font size and weight have been increased. The case list is now sorted first by casehead name, then by state case number and local case number.

15370 Audio file size in Compass CoPilot for iPad has been reduced.

Documents PCR(s) Feature Description 14967 Changes have been made to EnsureProperBase to update the application ID for submission chunk

size to 1. Additionally, existing installations, when upgraded, will have the application ID updated to 1.

15357 Code has been added to prevent users from using multiple OnBase licenses. This change affects OnBase 11 and OnBase 12 users.

15375 Documents in Compass Documents can now be opened by pressing the Ctrl and Enter keys simultaneously.

15382 The DMS plugin for OnBase 9 has been removed from Compass Pilot. As a result, OnBaseUnity is no longer an option in the System Settings node of Documents administration options.

15399 If a user opening Compass Documents has invalid credentials, the global exception handler error message that appears now displays details of the error.

Forms PCR(s) Feature Description 15400 If a user opening Compass Forms has invalid credentials, the global exception handler error message

that appears now displays details of the error.

Framework PCR(s) Feature Description 15292 When editing a recipient pool tick list, users will now see a green arrow next to the user who, at the

time of opening, will be selected next. 15293 A new button called Refresh has been added to the Manage Recipient Pool window. When clicked,

this button opens a new window called Next Suggestion which shows the next recommended worker.

15296 After editing a recipient pool tick list and saving, users will now be prompted with the Select Next Suggestion window to choose which worker should be selected next.

15297 The new Select Next Suggestion window displays which user was last assigned a task. This information is automatically updated every 15 seconds.

15299 Recipient pools will now be locked when they are being edited. Users attempting to edit or delete a recipient pool that is locked for editing will be notified that they cannot edit or delete the pool. Additionally, users will be prompted after three minutes of inactivity to select whether or not to continue editing.

15404 When a user with invalid credentials attempts to access administration options that require retrieving document types or keywords, the global exception handler error message that appears now displays details of the error.

15471 The global exception handler error message has been redesigned.

Profile window, the user is no longer prompted to reselect a profile to copy.

New functionality has been added to Compass People to allow users to merge duplicate cases. Access to this feature is granted through the new Can Merge Cases privilege.

14624 When merging a member in Compass People, the Remove Selected button on the Find And Remove Duplicate People For... window is now grayed out until you have selected a member. Additionally, the locations of the Merge Duplicated and Cancel buttons have been switched to be consistent with the new case merge feature.

15398 If a user opening Compass People has invalid credentials, the global exception handler error message that appears now displays details of the error.

Pilot Installer PCR(s) Feature Description 13725 Compass Pilot Installer now detects if .NET Framework 4.0 Full is installed, along with the

appropriate application server roles. If they are not installed, Installer prompts the user to allow the installation before continuing the installation of Compass Pilot.

14348 Compass Pilot Installer now checks for invalid credentials when a user creates a custom application pool identity type in the Custom Account Configuration screen before continuing installation.

14483 The Logging Temp Directory field on the Application Services Information screen in Compass Pilot Installer now defaults to the logging service folder.

14733 When uninstalling Compass Pilot using Compass Pilot Installer, all self-hosted services are now deleted.

15170 Compass Pilot Installer no longer requires a confirmation for passwords greater than 13 characters in the IIS Service Password field in the Application Services Information screen.

15183 Compass Pilot Installer no longer saves username or password values used during installation. 15186 If the SQL compare fails during an installation, Compass Pilot Installer now displays an error

message. 15453 The Back button navigation in Compass Pilot Installer now functions as expected. 15454 The Cancel button in Compass Pilot Installer now functions as expected.
