Linda has been a volunteer and active member of Pony Power Therapies’ Board of Directors since 2011. Her ener- gy, dedication and support have been unwavering. In addi- tion to volunteering as a side walker with riders from organizations like Children’s Aid and Family Services and Oasis, Linda actively represents the Board on Pony Power’s Development and Event Committees. For the past nine years, Linda and her husband, JP, have generously sponsored and hosted a benefit Golf and Tennis Outing to support Pony Power’s programs, participants and ponies. Every year, The Boisset Collection puts togethera wonderful 6 day luxury getaway with theirowner Jean-Charles Boisset, where the winnersget to discover “his” France where art, passion,culture and wine unite. Thewinners have to qualify byaccumulating a specificnumber of points over a 6month period. The pointsare accumulated based onsales, volume, and other leadership aspects of thebusiness. Julie will be enjoying Paris as well asbeing whisked away to Chablis, Beaune andMeursault in the heart of Burgundy. This trip is earned by a few select Ambassadorsin the company due to the unique qualification cri-teria involved in earning this trip.

• The most advanced imaging technology wasrecently unveiled at Good Samaritan Hospital, amember of the Westchester Medical Center HealthNetwork (WMCHealth). Good Samaritan Hospi-tal is the only hospital in the region with thisgame-changing new angiography medical imag-ing equipment for a 3D imaging platform.

“This new platform allows doctors the ability toaccomplish the procedures more quickly and effi-ciently, which benefits the patient,” said ScottLuchs, MD, Director of Radiology at GoodSamaritan Hospital. “It offers physicians opti-mized imaging visualization, convenience and theability to provide superior care.”

The imaging technology evaluates every arteryand vein (except the heart) to identify blockagesmore precisely, allowing physicians to clear theblockages and remove plaque. This new equip-ment benefits patients because it utilizes the low-est dose x-ray possible, thereby leading to betteroutcomes.

• Unity Bank recently held a ribbon cuttingceremony with the Mahwah Regional Chamber ofCommerce and the Ramsey Chamber of Com-merce to celebrate the opening of its new Ramseybranch at 475 Franklin Turnpike. Jodi Reyes,Unity Bank Ramsey Relationship Manager, is pic-tured center with James A. Hughes, Unity BankPresident & CEO, who are joined by bank staffand local residents and business representatives.Unity Bank provides financial services to busi-nesses and consumers at 18 branches throughoutNew Jersey and the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.

• For the second year in a row, Stryker hasbeen named a Best Workplace for Giving Back.The company ranks #22 out of 50 companies, andthey were the only medical device company thatmade the list.

Employees are proud of the impact they make intheir community, especially with the partnershipthey have with K9’s For Warriors. K9’s For War-riors is a nonprofit organi-zation that providesservice dogs to veteranssuffering from PTSD as aresult of post-9/11 mili-tary service. Since firstcollaborating with the or-ganization in 2015, Stryk-er has sponsored sixteenservice canines to date.

Featured here is Army veteran Jennifer DiLuzio with the

first service dog, named Stryker, that the company spon-

sored. Stryker’s proud to support the organization’s goal

of empowering warriors to return to civilian life with digni-

ty and independence.

• Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco visitedThe Body Image Boutique, a wellness facilityowned by county residents Melanie Struble andJen Kraft. The Body Image Boutique offers sup-portive services for women, men, and childrenwho are struggling with or in recovery from neg-ative body image, eating disorders, and addictionissues. “I really enjoy the opportunity to travelthroughout Bergen County and strengthen the re-lationships between government and the privatesector,” said County Executive Tedesco. “Busi-nesses like the Body Image Boutique fill an im-portant role in our communities by supporting thehealth and wellness of our residents.

great events planned! Our annual 5K run/3K

walk is coming up on May 6th. It’s a great

opportunity to be outside and enjoy time with

your families and friends while supporting local

businesses and scholarships. I hope to see you

We have 2 special interest groups, WIBI and

YPN that are gaining a lot of traction; I hope

that you will take time to check them out on our

website. At our annual luncheon we announced

that Linda Rosato is our Humanitarian of the

year. We are having a Business After Hours on

May 16th where we encourage you to come to

the Pony Power farm and meet her.

For our newer members and for those of you

that may want a refresher on the many benefits

the MRCC has to offer, I encourage you to join

us on May 22nd for our Member benefits

• On February 24, 2018, Business Machine Technologies (BMT)took part in the Polar Plunge at Seaside Heights, NJ. Several employ-ees of the company jumped into the 40-degree water, raising morethan $9,500 in donations for Special Olympics New Jersey.

“We jumped into this plunge with full force, exceeding ourfundraising goal by several thousand dollars”, said Matt “Beluga”Pellitteri, Vice President of BMT and Official Team Captain. “Theevent proved to be a great team experience while benefitting atremendous cause. We are proud to support the athletes of SpecialOlympics New Jersey”.

The Seaside Polar Plunge is an annual event that this year broughtapproximately 7,000 participants to the frigid Atlantic waters, raisingover $2.0 million for Special Olympics New Jersey. Celebrating 25years, this event has challenged thousands of brave jumpers fromaround the state. All funds raised go towards programming andevents for more than 25,000 athletes statewide. This is the secondtime BMT has participated in the Plunge at Seaside.
