Staff and Residents’ Photos
In Memory We would like to say goodbye to Elsie Kennedy,
Selbourne (Charley) Brown, Edmondson Adetola and
Sheila Meakins
You are greatly missed.
Those we love can never be more than a thought apart.
For as long as there’s a memory, they live on in our heart.
We will always cherish those memories.

Poem of the Month
Walk through the Autumn forest
by Mary Rands Allen, Mary Wilcox and Helen Weston
A walk through the autumn forest
Through the evening mist; candle flame brightly
burning,
Each leaf fading to a dull muted taupe.
The mottled leaves of autumn that please the eye,
The blond of maple, auburn of ash and the final
brunette of oak.
Walking through the gathering dusk,
The bells of evening toll towards the winter’s call;
Migrant birds bid farewell to autumn amongst the
naked branches.
This poem was written for National Poetry Week 2017 by
residents at Brampton View Care Home.
