JW Leaders in their book on p. 1158 point to why they translated John 1:1 as a god. Notice they refer to Dana and Mantey’s Greek work. During my search for the truth, I found out where Julius Manty was. I called him to asked him if he translated John 1:1 as a god instead of was God. Manty was really up set when he found out the Watchtower misquoted his work on purpose. He told me he was going to contact the Watchtower about them misquoting his work. From that first phone call to Dr. Mantey we became friends and he kept me in the loop as he dealt with the Watchtower leaders. In this PDF file you will see the many letters Dr. Mantey sent to me as he responded to my letters to him.

What was the result of my letter to the main office in New York? The Watchtower Society sent two JW elders to my home to tell

me stop asking these questions. I was told you can not question God’s messages from the leaders. I acted as the Acts 17:11 “Now

the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great

eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.” I did what the Berean’s did and

examined the scriptures the Watchtower had translated however unlike the Bereans I was told shut up and stop

questioning us. Now ask yourself why the Watchtower did not answer my question how can the Watchtower preach

against the Trinity, yet they quote from the expects who teach the Trinity as sound doctrine? The answer came to me

right away. The leaders will say and quote anyone they want to, even if they know what the experts they quote from are

against everything the Watchtower is teaching. The Watchtower has gone over the edge in order to keep their people

believing they are being directed by God’s angels.

When you read the notes Dr. Mantey sent me keep in mind he was in his 80’s so his handwriting was not all that great

Dr. Manty was in his 80’s when he hand wrote me some of the notes so his handwriting is not great.

It was brought out in a court case in 1954 that Fred Franz, Nathan Homer Knorr, Albert D. Schroeder, George D. Gangas and Milton Henschel were the JW leaders responsible for the translation from the Greek to English. Let it be known not one of these men had a degree giving them the ability to translate the bible. Out of the 6 only Frederick Franz claimed to have had sufficient knowledge in biblical languages. Franz had stated that he was familiar with not only Hebrew, but with Greek, Latin, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and French for the purpose of biblical translation.” The court case in 1954 showed under oath Fred Franz could not translate one sentence when asked. In other words, these men made their translation say what they wanted their people to believe not was accurate. Don’t believe what I am showing you do what I did and write the Scottish records office to get a transcript. Let the truth set you free from the JW lies!

From the 1954 court case entitled: Pursuer’s Proof in Douglas Walsh vs The Minister of Labour and National

Service, of the cross-examination held on Wednesday, November 24, 1954, p. 7, paragraphs A-B. Examining

Fred W. Franz, vice-president of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society and sent as representative of the

Society and the Translation Comm.

Q: Have you also made yourself familiar with Hebrew?

A: (Franz) Yes.

Q: So that you have a substantial linguistic apparatus at your command?

A: Yes, for use in my biblical work.

Q: I think you are able to read and follow the Bible in Hebrew, Greek, Latin, Spanish, Portuguese, German,

and French?

A: Yes.

The Truth is that F W. Franz holds no degree in Greek or Hebrew,

and cannot read either Greek or Hebrew, as a translator should. He dropped out of the University of Cincinnati

after his sophomore year and had not been studying anything having to do with theology. Therefore, his

qualifications as the only officially recognized member of the translation committee are definitely not

adequate. Later during the same cross examination, Franz had to admit that he was unable to translate a Bible

verse, so how in the world did he translate? Simple, they made it say what they wanted!

Q: You, yourself, read and speak Hebrew, do you?

A: I do not speak Hebrew.

Q: You do not?

A: No.

Q: Can you, yourself, translate that into Hebrew?

A: Which?

Q: That fourth verse of the second chapter of Genesis?

A: You mean here?

Q: Yes.

A: No.

Knowing this information, we can see that none of the “committee translators” had the

appropriate knowledge to translate any verses of the Bible.

The JW Cross Lie! The Jehovah witness leaders want their people to believe Jesus was crucified on a stake not a cross. In order to make the JW followers believe this lie they found a very rare book written by Justus Lipisus. Lipisus’s book addressed how people were crucified during the time of Christ. When you examine Lipisus’s book you will find out that the page the Watchtower Society quoted from which shows a man on a stake is not the page that shows how Jesus was crucified. The page the Watchtower chose not to quote was page 661 of Lipisus’s book which teaches how Jesus was crucified. Photo below show the page the Watchtower used to from Lipisus’s book to say Jesus died on a stake.

The photo below is page 661 from Lipisus’s book which explained how Jesus Christ was crucified. Since

the book is not in English the Help Jesus Ministry, I was part of in the 70s took this page to the University

of Southern Ca. Language Dept. 10/3/76 to have the page translated.

The page below is from the Univ. of So. Ca. language Dept which Marie Shioely Tseng did the translation

for us. Notice that Lipisus’s book teaches Jesus was in fact crucified on a cross. What I am showing you

here is only one of the many lies the Watchtower wants their followers to believe. How can they do

this? By telling their followers not to question their elders! The leaders don’t want the followers to

discover the truth.

If you want to search for the real truth and see the evidence for yourself

concerning the Watchtower lie about how Jesus died, read what Lipsius said for

yourself. Since Lipsius’s book is so rare let me make your search much easier than

we faced when the Help Jesus Ministry hunted down Lipsius’s book
