• TATA Prima – Much Higher Tractive Effort at the Wheel due to Higher Rear Axle Ratio, Higher Gear Ratios. Though torque output is lower in TATA Prima than Bharat Benz (BB)
• For the mine depth of approx. 45m to 55 m, with the maximum gradient of 15 to 16 degrees, Bharat Benz can easily climb in 1st Gear while TATA Prima provides much higher Tractive effort than required in the subject gear. (Prima Lx is better )
