ROTARY AT HOMECommunity is at the heart of everything Rotary does and our network of clubs across Great Britain and Ireland are making a difference in your area.

Rotary brings people together from all walks of life. Our members share their skills, experience and resources to give back to the community through a variety of initiatives.

Our youth competitions in a range of creative fields unlock the potential of young people. Our partnerships and links with organisations and charities such as The Stroke Association and Prostate Cancer UK help us raise awareness and provide support for health issues. Our enthusiasm drives and inspires us to do positive things and have a lasting impact in our communities.

ROTARY ABROADRotary is a global organisation, with clubs in over 200 countries worldwide. Clubs in Great Britain and Ireland are working with communities in disaster hit and underdeveloped areas overseas every day. Our clubs help to provide funds and aid which goes to those directly in need. Projects range from providing water and sanitation, disease prevention, literacy, education, building schools, hospitals, water wells and growing local economies through sustainable development.

Whether it is responding to an emergency or building a brighter future for communities in the long term, your vocational skills and appetite to do good in the world can make a difference to those who need it most.

Membership Our membership package gives you the opportunity to join a club in your area and start getting involved with all the exciting and worthwhile projects Rotary clubs organise every day.

By attending meetings you can get to know other members and build friendships. Clubs are flexible in their meeting times and locations, so there will always be something to suit you.

eClubs eClubs allow for members to attend meetings online rather than in person. Members from all over the world meet at a time to suit the majority. Many meetings are recorded for viewing when convenient for the member. Fitting your Rotary membership in and around a family work routine makes attending meetings a lot easier.

If you have a cause you are passionate about, set the wheels in motion and collaborate with other members locally, nationally and internationally to make a difference.

You will have access to resources and programmes that can help you increase your personal and professional skills, gain world understanding, and make lifelong friendships—all while bringing about positive change in your community.

There are other options like membership of a Rotaract club for 18 to 30 year olds and Interact clubs in schools are becoming popular as well as RotaKids for youngsters at primary school.
