…uses a highly defined technical skill with accurate representation of reality

…is all about form, technique and surface appearance

…depicts ordinary subject matter such as portraits, still life’s and urban landscapes

…is sometimes mistaken for an actual photograph

…does not rely much on imagination or creativity
