This is the program you use to surf the Internet.

There are numerous Internet browsers available for many different devices, such as computers and handheld Internet devices.

Different browsers render web pages slightly differently, further, some sitesmay require a certain browser to function correctly and some sites may not function at all with some browsers.

Basic Commands in using the Search Engines

1. Using The + Symbol to Add. (+)

The + symbol make sure that a search engine finds pages that have all the words you enter.

2. Using The - Symbol to Subtract. (-)

The - symbol find pages that have one word on them but not another word.

3. Using Quotation Marks To Multiply. (“ “)

This is where you tell a search engine to give you pages where the terms appear in exactly the order you specify.
