What is a computer?

A computer is a machine that accepts data & processes the data into useful & relevant information. The computer then stores the information that can be retrieved later.

A computer can process huge amount

of data at a fast speed. It can do the

same task repeatedly with nomistakes. However, a

computer can’tthink for itself. It’s dependent

on theInstructions you’ll give to it.

Theseinstructions will then be

followed bythe computer can’t replace

human intelligence.

Computers are indispensable

in this fast-evolvingtechnological era and one

could only imagine what life

would be like withoutcomputers.

A computer is a machine that helps man solve math problems fast.

If humans can add long digits of numbers in minutes, computers can solve them in seconds.

Just like appliances and other devices man have added other features that makes these devices work better.

These days, computers can now work on letters, shapes, and words on letters, shapes, and words. Lets us have a list of what man have added that makes the computer more useful.

Aside from counting, you can also type your name & all your friends name in the computer. The computer can arrange them in order from A to Z.

2. A computer is automatics.

Just type in the commands and it will do everything on its own. You do not have to tell the computer how it will add the numbers or print a picture.

3. A computer has memory.Memory means “able to

remember something”. Humans can memorize a lot of names, birthday, phone numbers and then remember them. However, humans can sometimes forget. The information stored in the computers’ memory can last for years unless, of course, if you delete them.
