What is BIM ?
Autodesk BIM is an intelligent model-based process that helps owners and service
providers achieve business results by enabling more accurate, accessible, and
actionable insight throughout project execution and lifecycle.
BIM changes the way companies work—both internally and externally. Projects
have become more and more complex, requiring firms to manage and share
immense amounts of data across diverse and distributed teams. By enabling greater
insight into the project at any point in its lifecycle, BIM helps AEC service
providers to improve accuracy, efficiency, and productivity, resulting in time and
cost savings. The significant value-added benefits that BIM-ready firms can
provide include: faster project approvals, more predictable outcomes, sustainable
design and analysis services, and improved collaboration and information sharing
for integrated project delivery strategies.

Revit Architecture Autodesk Revit architecture software enables architects and designers to create and communicate design intent and understand performance, appearance, and cost early in the building design process. Autodesk® Revit® Architecture software provides architects the tools to easily capture and analyze design concepts, and more accurately maintain coordinated and reliable design data
Revit Structure Autodesk Building Information Modeling (BIM) software enables structural engineers to improve multidiscipline coordination of structural design documentation, minimize errors, and enhance collaboration between engineering and architecture teams.
Revit MEP
Autodesk building information modeling (BIM) software helps mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers keep design data coordinated, minimize errors, and experience enhanced collaboration with engineering and architecture teams.
Autodesk Navisworks Navisworks® helps architecture, MEP , structure engineers, and construction professionals holistically review integrated models and data with stakeholders to gain better control over project outcomes. Integration, analysis, and communication tools help teams coordinate disciplines, resolve conflicts, and plan
projects before construction .

ARCHITECTURAL , MEP AND STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING
Autodesk® Revit
Autodesk® Revit® software* is specifically built for
Building Information Modeling (BIM), empowering design
and construction professionals to bring ideas from
concept to construction with a coordinated and
consistent model-based approach. Autodesk Revit is a
single application that includes features for architectural
design, MEP and structural engineering and construction.

Revit Architecture:
The Autodesk® Revit® Architecture software is a powerful Building Information Modeling (BIM) program that works the way Architects think. From Preliminary Design through Design Development, and into Construction Documents, the program streamlines the design process with a central 3D model. Changes made in one view update across all views and on the printable sheets. This course is designed to teach you the Autodesk Revit functionality as you would work with it in the design process. You begin by learning about the user interface and the Autodesk Revit commands for design development followed by those available for construction documentation.
Since building projects themselves tend to be extremely complex, the Autodesk Revit Architecture software is also complex. The objective of the Autodesk Revit Architecture Essentials course is to enable students to create full 3D architectural project models and set them up in working drawings. This course focuses on basic tools that the majority of students need to work with the Autodesk Revit.

Course Description
The Autodesk® Navisworks® training course instructs students in best approaches to combine 3D geometry from cross disciplines into one scene to enable effective model reviews. Through a hands-on, practice-intensive curriculum, students acquire the knowledge needed to review and markup the model, use TimeLiner, Animator, Scripter, and Presenter, as well as the Clash Detective tools within Autodesk Navisworks. Using the functionality of the Autodesk® Navisworks® Review, Simulate, and Manage features, students learn how to open, review, and run object-interference checks on 3D models. Students also learn how to link to task-scheduling files and create 4D construction simulations. Using the Animator and Scripter tools, students create interactive animations. In addition, students learn how the Presenter tools can help them create photorealistic images and animations.
Training Objectives
After completing this course, students will be able to:
Describe the main features and functionality of Autodesk Navisworks. Open and append 3D files of different formats and save in the Autodesk
Navisworks format. Create links to object properties files and scheduling files in external
databases. Perform visual project model reviews using the built-in review and
reporting tools. Create construction simulations of a project model to check the validity
of construction schedules. Use Animator and Scripter to create interactive animations for
presentations and demonstrations. Add true-to-life materials, and lighting and backgrounds to project
models, to create photorealistic output. Perform interference detection tests between 3D files of different
disciplines to check integrity of the design.
