What is ADPAAS? ADPAAS is the Army Disaster Personnel Accountability and Assessment System. It is a website designed to help Army personnel and their families directly affected by natural and man-made disasters. Why is ADPAAS needed? ADPAAS provides a tool to report your current location, update emergency contact information and request assistance. ADPAAS Needs Assessment is a survey with 19 categories of need. Upon completion of the assessment a case manager is assigned to assist a Soldier and Family. ADPAAS provides Army leaders with an up-to-date assessment of disaster situations, account for personnel and to provide assistance in support of you and your family. Please view the homepage for useful news and learn how to update your information as your situation changes. Who can use ADPAAS? ADPAAS is available to all DA- affiliated personnel and their Family members within the affected geographical area of the disaster. This includes Active Duty, Selected Reserve, DA Civilians, DA Contractors, Non-Appropriated Fund employees and their family members, including personnel on temporary duty status, on leave or on a pass in the affected area. If you are displaced from your home or office, or do not have access to a computer, you can contact someone with Internet access and ask them to use ADPAAS on your behalf. You can also use public computers available at community centers, shelters, airports, schools, libraries and select businesses. Alternatively, you can request assistance from local authorities and relief agencies. How does ADPAAS work?

• ADPAAS allows you and your Family members to submit vital information into a secure website using your computer. Simply complete the following eight basic steps:

Step 1 – Go to https://adpaas.army.mil

Step 2 – Click “Personnel Accountability”

Step 3 – Login into ADPAAS portal

Note: If you see the window below, it means that your command has not yet entered your data into ADPAAS or that you are not affected by the disaster.

Step 8 – Print, edit, or view your entries

Note: Please ensure that your entries are as accurate and complete as possible. You can use “Add Comments” at any time to update your situation.

Congratulations! You have completed entering your accountability status and completed the needs assessment.

Step 4 – Verify and update your information

Note: To proceed, please ensure that you complete “Contact Info” with your current telephone and email information.

Step 5 – Review the survey introduction

Step 6 – Complete the assessment survey

Step 7 – Review the confirmation window
