I have so many memorable moments with Avon, from making Senior Executive Leader, to opening my Licensed Avon Beauty Center, to going on my first Incentive trip to Jamaica. Avon is such a big part of my life, and the people I worked with are so generous. It’s amazing when you feel like you’re in the right place at the right time. I’m proud to be an Avon Lady! With Avon, Customers get quality products at affordable prices. If you’re a new Representative, start with a great door opener like lipstick. Once she sees the fabulous shades, packaging and formulas, you can bridge to other makeup, skin care and beauty products. Weekly team meetings are a great way to exchange selling tips, talk about how to promote products and come up with strategies to attract more Customers and Recruits. I use the What’s New at these meetings to help us plan for the next campaign and learn about new products. Celebrate top achievers! When team members are excelling at something, I’ll make them the stars of our next meeting so they can share their best practices with the group. Pass along savings, freebies or incentives to team members. It’s a great way to keep everyone motivated and encourage them to go the extra mile. Whenever I get products, samples and gifts from attending Avon conferences or trips, I use them to create special incentives for my team and help familiarize them with new products. Recruiting as a team is not only a team-building experience, but also helps everyone gain confidence talking to new people. When potential recruits see how much fun we’re having together as a group, they want to join too! I go out recruiting with at least one team member every day. I also reach out to local businesses to ask about setting up tables for recruiting events. Since I speak Spanish, I find reaching out to fellow Spanish speakers and communities very effective when it comes to recruiting. You’ll be amazed at what you can achieve by working together.
