{What I Need To Do

I am going to be creating a theatrical trailer that is going to appeal to a 16 – 24 year old female audience.

I am also going to be creating two ancillary tasks, consisting of a magazine cover and poster that shows my film in the best possible way.

I have already created the skeleton layouts for these ancillary tasks so I have a good indication of what I need to do.

Basic Plot

A young boy has no friends, his family acts like he doesn’t exist and doesn’t care much, until he finds ‘An Unlikely Friend’, in an old lady who is in a similar positions. We are taken through their friendship and how they help each other overcome obstacles in life.

So far I have finished all of the research stages for both the main task and also all of the ancillary tasks, so I only have the planning and the construction left to complete.

I have started planning both the main and ancillary tasks.

I have completed the title ideas and have developed my company logo in regards to the main task and I have also finished my 500 word plot.

In regards to my ancillary tasks I have completed my skeleton layouts for both tasks.

What I Have Done

I am currently working on the main influence section for both the ancillary and main tasks as I think it is important in regards to looking at inspiration when it comes to creating my own work.

I am also looking into different title ideas for the magazine cover as I need to think of an interesting name for the magazine.

What I Am Currently Doing

I am going to start looking into various locations that I could film and conduct risk assessments for both the ancillary tasks and the main task.

I am also going to start completing the treatment stage and the 4 page sample script for the main task.

I’m also going to put together some talent release forms so that I can start getting the people I need to sign them.
