GRADE LEVEL: - Appropriate for middle school students
This unit focuses on expressing their opinion through procedures which is involved positive or negative adjectives. Target group are fixed middle school students. Those procedures include asking and answering one's preference and opinion, expressing positive or negative opinions by using adjectives.
Ⅲ. Language foci
a. Communicative Functions
• Asking and answering one's preference ex) Do you like your school uniform? - Yes, I do. ex) Don't you like hamburgers? - No, I don't.
• Asking and answering one's opinion ex) What do you think of the uniforms? ex) I think it's really nice.
• Expressing positive or negative opinions
ex) positive - There are many kinds of blue jeans to
choose from. - We can use the Internet easily through
computer games.
ex) negative - We spent too much time in computer games. - Classical music is difficult to understand.
• Understanding positive or negative adjectives
ex) positive- exciting, interesting, nice, fantastic, wonderful, awesome ex) negative- boring, annoying, scary, dull, difficult

Activity 1 - Asking and answering one's preference

A teacher asks students main factor in order to facilitate their interests. A teacher asks students what they want to eat.
"Are you hungry? Then, what do you want for eating in a restaurant?" "Do you like hamburger?" "What do you like to eat?" ex) hamburger, pizza, sandwiches, susi, bulgogi. gimbap ...)
