Part 2: Have students collaborate to plan actions for each event in the story. Record (in writing) important information to describe sequence of events before dividing responsibilities or orally presenting each event.

Part 4: Evaluation of self and peers following presentation. (Rubric will serve as a guide.) Review the prompt and rubric. Model using the planning sheet. Go over the rules and expectations of the group. Explain Part 2 of the prompt. Remind students that using temporal words help the audience understand the sequence of events.
