WHAT DID I LEARN IN LANGUAGE ARTS!

Silent Reading

While I was in thins class I read the book Twighlight. This book was awesome. It taught me a lot about immortality, and vampires vs. humans. But the most I learned was about love. Love is everlasting, it is eternal and it is really great. I learned all that from one book. I really enjoy silent reading because if it wasn’t for silent reading I wouldn’t have had the time to read Twighlight.

Civil War!

In Language Arts, we learned about the Civil War. We read a book Numbering All The Bones. In this book I learned how bad the prisons were, I learned how bad the injured the slaves and I also learned that today sometimes it might not be who you are it can be the race you are.

The Giver!

During this unit of Language arts we read a book called The Giver. This book taught me how badly people want to be the same as other people. I thought at first before we read the book that this was crazy!! But after we read it I actually understood.

Film Criticism!

During this unit of Language arts I learned how Film Critics rate a movie. I learned why a movie would be rated G,PG, PG13, and R. That is really important to know because sometimes a movie should be rated R but instead it is rated PG13.
