CREATINGRELATIONSHIPS ANDEMOTIONALADAPTABILITY IN ATHERAPEUTICENVIRONMENT

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO CREATE FOR YOUR FAMILY?

WHAT DO YOU WANT YOUR CHILD TO CREATE FOR HIMSELF?

WHAT WOULD YOU CREATE IF YOU COULD?

• Friendship? CREATE focuses on making and keeping friends and learning how to be a good friend.

• Better communication? Every session, CREATE teaches conversation skills: how to listen and how to be understood. • The confidence to overcome challenges in school? CREATE works on emotional flexibility and self-control so your child can face challenges and succeed.

• Peace and calm? CREATE works on emotional regulation. Your child will learn how to understand his feelings and how to express them in safe ways. CREATE uses ABA principles and innovative evidence-based programs to understand, and then motivate, your child.

• Help that lasts as long as you need it? CREATE doesn’t stop until your child’s goals are met. CREATE will support your child through transition times and over school breaks.

• Support for your whole family? Parents are partners in CREATE. You will meet every other month for a family session with your therapist, and quarterly CREATE workshops will connect you with other parents.

• Self assurance? CREATE will give you tools you can use at home to help your child.
