What can I recycle?The following is a list of items that can be recycled in the yellow lid recycling bin.

• Coffee pods• Window and mirror glass• Drinking glasses • Heat proof dishes (e.g. pyrex)• Crockery / ceramics• Paper plates• Tissues or serviettes
• Plastic toys • Clothing and textiles• Batteries• Light bulbs• Nappies• Cultery• Garden waste*
Remember to flatten boxes and cartons to save space. You can even order a larger recycling bin for a one off payment of $20.
All soft plastics such as frozen food bags, pasta and rice bags, confectionary and biscuit packets can be returned for recycling at participating supermarkets.
* Garden waste can now be recycled through the optional green waste bin.
