Eco Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2011 was a smashing success, and we would like to extend our utmost thanks, recognition and congratulations for all of your hard work and your company‟s support of our mandate to bring eco-responsible fashion to the mainstream. Although runway shows may take center stage at Eco Fashion Week (EFW), it is an equally important mandate of our organization to educate and inform the industry, media and public both about the environmental effects of fashion, and what we are doing to try to change these effects on our planet. This season of EFW was all about increasing our current momentum and revealing yet again that Vancouver is the perfect host to celebrate and represent the global „responsible fashionindustry. “[Eco Fashion Week] will help catapult Vancouver to the forefront of the world‟s green catwalk and help it become the eco-center of the fashion industry” - CNCworld Our mission was to reach a worldwide audience and demonstrate that EFW participants design, produce and distribute like no one else. This collaboration of EFW designers and supporters are setting the standard for all industry and consumers to covet responsible and conscious fashion, apparel and textiles.
