It shows the fighting ability of human-beings and how far the NEEDS of life win over the THREATS !

Overall, the Economic scenario is also looking to be encouraging ! Once we get a vaccine, I hope rest of the things will follow nicely !

I pray the Almighty, not to have any more such worst situation the world has experienced in the past few months ! Let us forget all the difference in opinions, discriminations and work hard for the progress of self, the society and for the whole world !

1. Willingness and Desire to Lead:

❖ There is a difference between a desire to have a job or position and the desire to truly lead.

❖ They only need to have the desire and willingness to learn and to develop the other skills.

❖ The role of the leader today is much different than the role of “supervisor” in the past. The leader must motivate

and inspire people to achieve great things



2. Job Knowledge

❖ This refers to the specialized kind of information and skills required to perform the work in an area.

❖ Leaders should be knowledgeable about the materials, machines, tools, and production steps. They should also

possess the technical knowledge of each operation in their area, and know the correct way each operation

should be performed.

❖ Without this ability, the leader cannot ensure that the work is being performed correctly to standards.

3. Job Responsibilities

❖ A leader must know his or her role. That is, they must keep abreast of company policies, procedures, health and

safety regulations, plans and interdepartmental relationships.

❖ Leaders must understand the policies and procedures, communicate them to their team members and ensure

that they are followed.



4. Continuous Improvement Ability

❖ A leader must constantly analyse the work of the area, looking for ways to combine, rearrange, and simplify

tasks to make better use of materials, machines, and manpower.

❖ The major part of a leader’s role is to encourage his or her people to develop continuous improvement in

thinking and action

5. Leadership Ability

❖ A leader must be able to work with team members so they accomplish the company goals.

❖ The leader must be able to “translate” the overall company objectives into specific activities that their team must

perform in order to be successful.

Yes, from all the three studies one can understand the stability of the process. The best way to check the Normality is Anderson-Darling test ! ( With a P value of 0.05 minimum, mostly )

For most of the MSA purpose d2* table is referred to know the d2* value ( to compute the Standard Deviation, Range method ) and also to know the Degrees of Freedom.

What is the purpose to use d2* table ?

Maslow’s Theory of Needs




❖ Professor A.S. Maslow of Brandeis University has developed a theory of human motivation elaborated on

by Douglas McGregor. The theory describes a “hierarchy of needs.”

❖ Maslow postulated that the lower needs must be satisfied before one can be motivated at higher levels.

❖ Furthermore, as an individual moves up the hierarchy the motivational strategy must be modified because a

satisfied need is no longer a motivator.

1. Psychological Needs

✓ At this level a person is seeking the simple physical necessities of life, such as food, shelter, and

clothing. A person whose basic physiological needs are unmet will not be motivated with appeals to

personal pride. If you wish to motivate personnel at this level, provide monetary rewards such as

bonuses for good quality.

✓ Other motivational strategies include opportunities for additional work, promotions, or simple pay

increases.



2. Safety Needs

✓ Once the simple physiological needs have been met, motivation tends to be based on safety.

✓ At this stage issues such as job security become important. Quality motivation of workers in this stage was

once difficult.

✓ However, since the loss of millions of jobs to foreign competitors who offer better quality goods, it is easy for

people to see the relationship between quality, sales, and jobs.

3. Social Needs

✓ Social needs involve the need to consider oneself as an accepted member of a group.

✓ People who are at this level of the hierarchy will respond to group situations and will work well on quality

circles, employee involvement groups, or quality improvement teams.
