This month WPW presents Southern HemisphereWrestling Alliances resident business mogul andmember of Ebenizah J. Klaus new faction theSoldiers of Fortune, Elliot Forbes.

Well its no surprise Ive been ask to write aneditorial, I was a weekly columnist in over 15

publications worldwide, but the one I take the most

    pride in is the

    . It (loosely) translates to

Commoner Suppression Weekly. Tens ofthousands of businessmen read my sage advice on

subverting the lesser working class people. Tradeunion membership halved in Taiwan, and theTaiwanese C.L.U (Child Labor Union) disbandedcompletely. Now we can finally give those 5 year

olds a sensible wage (what are they going to buyanyway?) And as much as he tries to deny it,Rupert Murdoch used nearly all of said advice tocreate FOX news.

Which brings me on to the question all myfriends ask me, why wrestling? Why indulge insuch vulgar brutality when you can pay to have twomonkeys trained to knife fight for just a measly$10,000? Well my debut was partly because I lost awager with a certain Japanese banker, and hethought it would be a right laugh to see mehumiliated in a wrestling ring. But Im not the kindof person to allow someone get one over on me. I

decided I would climb to the top just to spite thatsmug bastard. But surprisingly, I found it slightlymore difficult than expected. It is by far the most

    physical thing I have ever done; I have had to trainas often as possible and get to the best physicalcondition I have ever been in, and I have no doubt Iwill need to get even bigger, faster and stronger.My back is sore nearly every day, and my desire tosucceed has indeed been tested. And perhaps theworst thing, where I commanded instant respectand fear just by walking into a boardroom meeting,I am held in no such regard in the backstage area ofa wrestling show. It seems no matter who you are;

you have to earn respect in a wrestling ring. But there is reward for the business savvy in

wrestling. It did not take long for myself andEbenizah J. Klaus to team together. Not since Iattended a meeting of the top cartel leaders in Cubahave I met someone who equals my genius in

business. Listening to him has been a revelation, and forming the Soldiers of Fortune with Sean

Ravage and Avalanche was a masterstroke. It isonly a matter of time before we dominate SHWA.

So what has been my experience as a newcomer tothe wrestling world so far? Its harder than it looks.Theres a big difference between watching it anddoing it. You have to want it. Its not a sport likeAFL where you can kick the ball down the park forfun. You have to learn some sort of humility, listen

to the people more experienced than you. Learnfrom them. Then crush them.Elliot Forbes

    STORM/JURAH/TAYLOR

The lead up to the main event EPW Championshipmatch atRe-Awakening 9 took another interestingturn following the eight man elimination match at

Dooleywas wheeled out in a wheelchair by the BrothersSchmidt before the match began, before Barry wasunsuccessful in his attempt to get the bounty.Bobby Marshall appeared from backstage afterPaynes victory and attacked the former two timeEPW Champion, leaving the fans in attendancestunned at his actions. Marshall will now try toclaim the bounty by taking out Payne atRe-

Awakening 9, possibly in an I Quit match asDooley was overheard by some in the crowd sayingthose words as he left the arena.

Photo: Southern Hemisphere Wrestling AllianceWestside Pro Wrestling unleashes the Wraith on itsreaders with a bi-monthly column. You want someof this? Of course you do!

So here we are at issue 2, let's see if I can finish thefirst arc before this is turned into a limited series.

WowReckless Abandon...Really who saw that coming?!?

Well I didn't, and after my match with Triple J -Jimmy Jamal Jenkins: King of Krump (I'll get backto him), Klaus brought out the rest of the MuscleMilitia...I was thinking to myself, Why??? Imean, it was only Jimmy I beatSo Klaus went toaddress the crowd about something (I phase outwhen he starts talking), then he gets all fiery abouthow we all signed some contract which stated ifany one of the MM got the SHWA title that wewould hand it over to him. Why? Because he'ssmall, feeble and has the power level of the turtle inthe first episode of Dragon Ball Z (Unlike themembers of the MM, whose power level is over9000!!) He would never have been able to get thetitle himself!!

Anyways, he went to yell at us about how weshould hand it over, or face legal action...orsomething worse. So what did we do??? Wezerg-rushed the noob, beat him down, tore up hiscontact, and beat some sense into the clown, muchto the admiration of the crowd...But alas, smartasses like Klaus have a backup plan and knewthat this would happen so his something worsewas (what we now call The Wiggles) Avalancheand Elliot Forbes, lead by Sean Ravage!!! They gotthe jump on us due to us being too busy beating onour former founder. As they started to gain groundon us, Mad (and oh and he was Mad) MikeMassive came out to tear a sunder with a chairagainst this new group of offenders. This new group claims to be the $oldiers ofFortune.

Now, back to the King of Krump. Bustingthrough the entrance and the ladies go wild. Wow,

people dig this guy? He trash talks me, winningover the fans with his crazy dance moves, puts up agood fight...but...coming back from an injury isalways hard and he did well, but I managed to

finish him off with my Heavens Door DDT.The main event was Crazy Train and the new

SHWA champ Jarrad Slate! It was gung-ho thewhole match with no man willing to budge becausethey both knew what was at stake. But guess whocame down to rain on the parade? The newlyformed $oF!!! They jumped Jarrad, beat himaround and to add insult to injury they tried to getCrazy Train to attack him. But, he knew better andshoved the offer back in their faces. The numberswere stacked against them. Now when Pain and Iwere informed of this injustice, we rushed to ourcomrades aid and finished off their parade.

    Photo: Jarod/SHWA

Running WildPain and I went head to head against the $oF: ElliotForbes & Avalanche. It was time to show thesenoobs who the strongest and most bad ass stable onthe roster was. After successfully defeating Pain in

rock/paper/scissors, I floored Avalanche with ahuge forearm, then proceeded to tag in Pain. (Ididnt particularly want to waste my energy onfighting Avalanche but I know that rock alwayswins and Pain is less brain, more muscle).

Elliot thought it would be a good idea to try a testof strength (how is this guy rich again???), but itwas all a plot to use dirty tactics...(maybe thatshow he got rich). After Pain nailed Elliot with ahuge Death Valley bomb off the second rope, I,like a camo blur hit Avalanche with my runninghigh knee and sent him sprawling to the outside asPain set up Elliot for a power bomb. I climbed to

the top and proceeded to Shining wizard Forbeshead off into the Power bomb. It was trulyawesome, but these $oldiers of fortune are like

Slam of Steel (Olympic Slam) and going for thethumb tacks. Taking Slate to the Top rope, gaveSlate time to recover and he fought back, whichgave Jarrod the opportunity to use his Blu RayDriver (named as such cause it's better than aDVD [Death Valley Driver]) into the thumb

tacks!!!!He followed up with his huge Das Boot!!!

(Running yakuza Kick - the same move that almosttook out Chris Masters). But! Once again, the$oldiers came to interrupt the festivity to beat downSlate, but not on my watch! I would get myvengeance for earlier in the night. I broke up the

beat down and helped Slate to his feet to fend offthe assailants. The $oldiers of fortune had thenumbers again on their side again.

The $oldiers will get what is coming. At SuperAwesome Wrestling Show 6000, The MuscleMilitia will be at full strength. Pain will be back.

Jarrod doesnt have a pesky title defence. And Iwill continue to fight the good fight. We will haveretribution! And when we, the Muscle Militia, faceoff against the $oldiers of Fortune it will be in atrio tables elimination tag team match!!!!RRRRAAAAAGH!!!! YOU WANT SOMMATHIS???

One half of the voices of Explosive Pro Wrestling,

and the 2009 WPW Commentator of the Year,Mean Dean Olsen brings WPW all the latest on theEPW scene.

The Mean Scene is back, and WOW, what anamazing event Explosive Pro WrestlingsRoad toGlory 2 was. It was a fantastic show from start tofinish and every match delivered the awesomewrestling action as you know, love and expect fromEPW. Now thatRoad to Glory and the riot denmatch, which was above the level of brutality I wasexpecting has passed has finished, I look forward tothe next show on the horizon, which is the biggestof allRe-Awakening 9!

Now for this months mean scene, Id like to lookbackwards to Re-Awakenings past, and my

personal experience being involved in thecompany, in what is the biggest night in W.A.wrestling each year. If you have ever been to one ofEPWs Re-Awakenings youll know what Imtalking about, nothing you see elsewhere willcompare, and if you havent, well I think youshould go and book yourself a ticket to what could

be the biggest and best R-A yet.Lets cast our minds back to the year 2007, that

was my first year with Explosive Pro Wrestling, Ihad an amazing year and started commentatingwith the company at Evolution that year due to theBrad West, Jack Burbank feud. Finally it was timefor my first R-A experience, and what an amazingone it was. When I first arrived at the VenvilleCentre that afternoon, things were unlike the othershows I had attended, there was something in theair, it was true that this was a bigger, grander show, and everyone involved knows it too. Just walkingaround saying hello to people, it was a differentatmosphere, everyone was more excited, somemore nervous, everyone more focused and ofcourse the preparation involved is top notch. A lotof praise should be put on the support crew forEPW because on a day like these, they have theirwork cut out for them, a lot more chairs are to be

put out, the entrance is bigger, everything is largerand it can be rather stressful. Speaking of stress andnerves, I was feeling it, my first time at the real bigshow, I had put a tonne of pressure on myself to doa good job of calling the show, as I usually do, butI may have psyched myself stupid, but there were

plenty of the crew who greeted me with jokes andsuch to ease my nerves, and a very kind personsaying hello and wishing me a happy Re-Awakening.

The week of the show I was quite sick and had a

terrible cold I had been trying to shrug off, I thinkit wasnt too much of a hindrance but it added tomy pre-show jitters, but other people Id see

backstage getting dressed or ready for theirmatches were so intensely focus like the big eventsituation fires them up to go above and beyond the

call of duty. After a lot of work and organising, things were ready to go, the pre show hadhappened and Lukey and I were waiting to becalled out by Callan, we were behind the entranceway, then our names were called, and BANG!! Amassive pyro went off and I think I lost even morehearing, although we were warned of it, we were

just excited for the show and forgot to block ourears, then we walked out, and it was amazing. Now

just to stress it is a great feeling walking out infront of an EPW crowd on any occasion, but this,my first R-A, it was unlike anything I had felt

before, it was something I will never forget and

reflecting upon this makes me so happy and proud Iget to do what I do.

The show itself was amazing, great matches fromstart to finish, Jack Burbank got his revenge againstBrad West for shaving his head, the team of theFighting Hellfish -Tyler Jacobs (then F.N.

Carnage) and CJL won the EPW Tag Team titles ina crazy Tables match. One match I was reallylooking forward to was Spike Steele vs. DevlinReeves in Spike Steeles House of Pain match. This was a hardcore outing and had weapons hungall around the ring posts, there was plenty of

bloodshed and the bout ended with Spike puttingon his STF submission hold with a barbed wire batacross the face of Devlin, a sight Im sure no onewill forget.

Serious mat wrestling was also on display thatnight with Davis Storm vs. Jimmy Payne in a twoout of three falls match, after a spectacular feudduring the year, this was the match to settle thescore and what a battle it was. Holds were traded,

vicious forearms, fists and kicks were thrown andthe intensity was off the chart. The match heated upwhen it was one fall a piece and then Jimmys(then) partner in crime Nate Dooley got involved inthe match and allowed Payne to get the final pinfall for the win. As astounding as that match was

the main event was still to come.Shane Haste had a fantastic 2007 but to end a

great year in style he had to defeat Bobby Marshallto retain his EPW championship in the main eventof the biggest event of the year. This match didntlet anyone down, it was Explosive Pro Wrestling atits finest, with both of these young competitorslaying it all out in the ring, it had hard hittingoffence, high flying insanity, and all the suspense agreat match could want. One moment I alwaysremember is when both Haste and Bobby went toopposing turnbuckles and launched at each other inthe air then collided, clotheslining each other in

mid air. Words cant do this justice it was likesomething out of a kung fu movie, only right infront of our faces. In the end Haste kept the titleafter hitting his frog splash for the win, andeveryone in the Venville Centre went wild.

It was a great event, my voice held out, and I

think a did a good job of calling the show, that wasmy first Re-Awakening, since then have calledevery one since and am more comfortable in myrole at the commentary desk, but each year there isthat special buzz about on the day, I still get edgyand have butterflies in the stomach, but its all partof the fun, on the night where EPWs year allcomes to a head theres nowhere else I, or Im sureyou would rather be, than witnessing the EPW Re-Awakening, no matter what year it is, it will always

be the biggest show of the year, not to be missed. Ihope to see you all there this year.

Until next time, keep supporting local wrestlingand stay tuned to epwperth.com

from his past in the United States.

    NHPW Family

With NHPWFinal Chapterfast approaching I amtruly humbled by the talent that will be utilised forit. I have many of the talents coming to purely saygoodbye and I really want to thank them all for

being a part of thismy final show.November will be special to me - I have some of

my closest friends here with me to say good bye.Can you ever really say Goodbye completely? No,if my health was back tomorrow I would be kickingass in NHPW again. For me it will be a time toreflect as I will not be in an Australian ring for along, long time.

For me though I am thankful and blessed to havea very tight knit unit that legitimately look out forme and each other. I am proud to have Young gunsin guys like Percy T, Tama Williams, David Hawk,Kabel, Hallmark and Benji the Clown co-existingwith solid more experienced workers such asCannonball, Tapu, NC Viper, Blake Mitchell andso many of the core guys.

Its easy for me to rant about Family like othersdo, but Ive been in a social arena with all of themand they honestly are a great bunch of guys. Theyrib each other, joke a lot, dick punch (dont ask)and get along just like I was used to when I firststarted out at World Xtreme Wrestling inAllentown, PA. We were Family under Afa, Samuand the Trainers and thats exactly what I havealways wanted to be a part of since I have been

back. I hand it to EPW they are very, very closeas well and I was happy to be a part of theircompany for the short time I was. This is different

from EPW but still positive in a differentmanner - no better just different.

They have done well by being respectful to ourguests when they are here which has been great. Iappreciate the fact the guys sit down and listen tothe Internationals who teach them lesson that could

only be learnt if they went to America which letsface it most will not go unfortunately. Case in pointthey trained with Steve Corino and no disrespectfulquestions were asked and Steve tells me it was agood seminar that he would love to teach moreagain. When they trained with Sonjay Dutt - theythought like Steve it would be more theory than

physical. Sonjay drilled them big time and theyenjoyed it immensely as did Sonjay. The NHPWroster may not be there yet as in standard - but itslearning really fast and again I am thankful theylisten.

As for the girls - IndyGurlz (Australia) is in itsinfancy really but the matches so far, have beentruly awesome. To have girls who have fightingspirit and are true students of pro wrestling notDivas is something new in WA but I hope will bearound for a long time to come. With BombshellBo being IndyGurlz (Australia) Champion it givesa fresh new face a chance to take on some of the

best in the world. Bo has been lucky enough totrain with TNT for AWF Sydney (one of the bestschools in Australia) as well as one of MANY fromAustralia to train with Lance Storm in Canada. Ilike the way she fights and I am sure will prove aworthy Champion. The two I actually consider giftsthrough friendships - Kellie Skater and JessieMcKay. To look at them when we first met, Ithought man they look to shy, but as I have written

before, their first match tore the house downliterally. Jessie is trained through Ryan Eagles and

current Shimmer World Champion, MadisonEagles. From PWA they both have done andimmense job in making Jessie the all rounder she is

today. I am truly thankful they allow her to showWA what a deadly combination of model looks andWomens Wrestling as an Art can be. Skater is outof Melbourne as she so proudly speaks out but can

back it up no doubt. She is energy and Power addedin with pure Force of Will. Skater is not only

making a name for herself here but Worldwide.Very excited to see where both of them end up intheir careers because anyone with an eye forwrestling can see they have IT.Backing that up are the likes of veteran Michelle, who is happily travelling Australia and makingwaves, which I am happy for her. She is a good

person in the locker room and a good wrestlerdeveloping as well.

Soon a couple of the girl students from myNHPW Slaughterhouse Training will be makingtheir debuts as well so its quickly growing fromstrength to strength.

All in all I cannot wait to draw the curtain on FinalChapterin November - now you probably all knowthat my friend Gene Snisky has had to withdraw

because of personal and family issues, I lookforward to seeing what Bad Ass Billy Gunn,

Nikki Roxx, Mercedes Martinez and TamasMystery Opponent for our match is.

I am sure that some will look upon this as selfpromoting - it is, but in a lot of ways its just saying

Photo: Super Luchasthat I am truly happy with how NHPW is and the

people involved are truly some of the best I havecome across attitude and family wise. If its takenthe wrong way (which really it will be either way) Idont care - I am content with all who are involvedand how we are going. I care about this roster andvice versa - who could ask for anything more.

Take Care and hope to see you atFinal Chapter2010.
