Laboratory Equipment and Materials Testing (LAPEM) is an organization of the Federal Electricity Commission which aims to meet the needs of national and international power sector, providing specialized engineering studies, laboratory and field equipment and materials, and as quality management and supply systems

in a reliable, timely and effective, based on a high degree of specialization of its staff, with a service oriented attitude.

NEETRAC is a self supporting, membership based center within the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at

    Georgia

    Tech.

    Our

    goal

    is

    to

help the electric utility industry solve the every day problems associated with the complex task of transmitting

and distributing electric energy reliability and efficiently.

Sequence of Load Cycles Applied to the 230kV XLPE Pre Qualification Cable System

It is particularly noteworthy that the compliance with AEIC CS9-06 was achievedon a cable that had previously completed the requirements of IEC 62067 2006Section 13 cable system test (reported separately). Thus it had completed asequence of load cycles as shown in Table 1. Furthermore the 230 kV XLPE PreQualification Cable System has completed two sequences of impulse tests atelevated temperatures (10 positive / 10 negative).
