Western Region Southern Hemisphere Project La Parva, Chile - DH/SG/GS/SL Training Project Project Dates: Travel: Depart USA September 7 th – Arrive Santiago, Chile September 8 th Train: La Parva Ski Resort - September 9 th -22 nd Travel: Depart Santiago, Chile evening of September 22 nd arrive USA September 23 rd . Invite: Regional Selection – page 2 West staff: Will Brandenburg, Trevor Wagner, and Club TBA Project Goals: 1. Prepare athletes for upcoming 2017-18 NorAm and U19 National Performance Series 2. Vary the terrain and course sets across the 4 disciplines trained 3. Gliding and jumping in speed environment 4. Regional crossover and collaboration amongst athletes and staff Athlete Travel: When we are ready to book we will use WorldTek – Carol Menconi (435) 649-2811x 6039 or [email protected] Delta baggage discounts can be prepaid through Carol/WorldTek Flights are not included in the project fee. Meals: Lunch and Dinner included once we arrive at our accommodations. Travel day meals and snacks not included. We’ll stop at a Grocery Store outside Santiago to pick up breakfast and snacks before we arrive in La Parva. On the off days a coach will make a grocery run to Santiago to replenish snack and breakfast foods as needed. A small convenience store is nearby. Lodging: Base of La Parva Ski Resort, apartment units with basic kitchen, private bathrooms, tv and wifi internet access. Project Fee: Estimated at $3500-3800 – Fee may change depending on the number of athletes that participate Includes transportation in Chile, room and board, lift tickets and training fees.

West Selection All West Team plus 5 RTG per gender. RTG athletes are ranked by NTSM National points (USSA), DH, SG, and GS. Athletes will be accepted in order of rank.
