Expect fireworks when the young, dynamic and supremely gifted Ryu Goto teams up with acclaimed conductor Jorge mester for the famed and formidable Brahms Violin Concerto. We kick off our 31st season with the power of Beethoven’s Egmont Overture, and round out this version of “3 B’s” with French composer Georges Bizet’s Symphony in C, written when Bizet was but 17 but immediately hailed as a masterpiece.

The Phil continues its focus on presenting young, ground-breaking artists whose massive talents demand our attention. Ryan mcAdams’ leadership of the New York Youth Symphony has led to non-stop critical acclaim. He teams up with Tai murray, an Avery Fisher Career Grant winner, Sphinx Competition winner, and BBC New Generation Artist. “Technically flawless”, “vivacious and scintillating”, Murray brings her elegance, effortlessness, and sheer passion to our season finale.
