Missionary News June 21, 2015

It is with mixed emotions that we wish to inform you that we will be

leaving our position with Awana International Canada as Awana

Missionaries effective July 31, 2015. I have received an invitation to

serve on the pastoral staff of our home church and feel called of

God to make this change at this time.

Thank you for the wonderful care that you have provided to us

through your faithfulness in prayer and financial support as well as

the many opportunities of sharing in the joys that God has

provided us together during our time of ministry. Your

partnership has indeed been precious.

Your faithfulness to our Heavenly Father has been very

encouraging. Your kindness to us and the opportunities that we

have had to pray together, laugh together, share meals together,

stay in your homes and serve together in club life and worship

services will not be forgotten

An Old Soldiers Prayer

Build me a son, O Lord, who will be strong enough to know when he is weak and brave enough to face himself when he is afraid; one who

will be proud and unbending in honest defeat, and humble and gentle in

victory.
