This season, the Power are 4-6 against the Legends and are 22-19 against the entire Southern Division. West Virginia hasn’t played anybody in the southern division since the Lexington May 16-19. The Power will play 13 more games against members of the Southern Division this month and have 26 games remaining overall this season against the Southern Division. CAPACITY CROWD: Despite a rain delay that lasted an hour and 30 minutes, 5,104 fans flocked to Appalachian Power Park on July 4th. Thursday’s game was a single game high for West Virginia this year, shattering the previous high of 4,045 fans on May 29th. The best crowd to ever come to Appalachian Power Park was June 9th, 2005, when 10,103 fans came to the stadium. MAX ATTACK: West Virginia shortstop Max Moroff currently rides the longest current hitting streak by any Power player at five games. Moroff is batting .355 in his last eight games.
