Keller Army Community Hospital: Keller Army Community Hospital is located at 900 Washington Rd on the West Point Campus. It is a 65-bed facility, built in 1974, specifically designed to extend the finest comprehensive health care to the entire West Point community. They provide high quality, patient-centered care with a focus on health and wellness to improve readiness of the Armed Forces and enhance the lives of all beneficiaries. 5

Primary Care At West Point

The Crimson Knights and the Cadet Medical Home serve this community offering Primary Care alternatives. Each patient is assigned to a Primary Care Manager and each home has a specialty. 7

The Crimson Knights Home specializes in walk in appointments for immunizations, routine medications, and blood pressure checks. 5

The Cadet Medical Home specializes in offering walk in sick call starting at 0600. 7

West point-Bowling center: The West Point Family and MWR Bowling Center is a 10-lane, state-of- the-art faci l i ty with services that inc lude bowling lessons by appointment, league bowling, party packages and galact ic bowling. The bowling center is a lso home to  L i l ' Skeeters BBQ  and Primo's Pizza. 9

The other recreational centers available are Mitchie Stadium, the outdoor football stadium3, and Shea Stadium, the multi- purpose stadium used for lacrosse and track and field events.4 Mitchie Stadium serves as the home field for the Army Black Knights. It was opened in 1924 and has a current seating capacity of 38,000.3

West Point- Walk ways

There are several walk ways available on the grounds of West Point. This is an easy way to support and encourage physical fitness. You can commonly see Cadets, Officers, and military family members jogging or walking around the campus.

US Post Office: The post office is located on 634 Swift Rd, West Point, NY.

They are open for business Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 12:00pm and Closed on Sunday. 9

West Point Military Library: There are several library serving the needs of West point populations, these includes: The Jefferson hall, Bartlett hall, various department libraries and the library annex 9

Eisenhower Hall- Eisenhower Hall Theatre is the Hudson Valley's premiere performing arts center. It's a special showplace where stars appear regularly and where the excitement of Broadway plays and musicals are standard fare. Opera, dance, symphony orchestras, staged spectaculars, country and rock are all on the menu. 9

US Military Academy: The Academy has a challenging Academic Program that offers 37 majors provides a balanced education in the arts and sciences. All cadets receive a Bachelor of Science degree, which is designed specifically to meet the intellectual requirements of a Commissioned Officer in today's Army.The Physical Program at West Point includes both physical education classes and competitive athletics. Every cadet participates in an intercollegiate, club or intramural level sport each semester. This rigorous physical program contributes to the mental and physical fitness that is required for service as an officer in the Army. 1

Stores: West Point commissary provide groceries to military personnel, retirees and their families in a safe and secure shopping environment. Services include a bakery, where they make custom photo cakes and party cakes; a deli, equipped with fresh sandwiches to go, hot foods, Rotisserie Chicken, and even Sushi; and a plant department. The stores also include a Subway and a few scattered cadet stores.2

Transportation: West Point is surrounded by the Hudson river, allowing the campus to use boats as a means of transportation. Shuttle buses are also a common sight as they are used around the campus in order to alleviate the problem of insufficient parking spaces. Some commute to work with their bicycle, while others walk or jog on one of the many walking paths surrounding the barracks. 9

Housing and Zoning: Incoming military personnel must in-process first through the HSO after signing in for duty and in-processing with Military Personnel Division (MPD), Bldg 622 for on post and off post housing. Personnel will then be referred to the appropriate office for the desired housing, i.e. Balfour Beatty Communities for Family housing on post, HSO Office for off post housing.The HSO Office provides off-post housing assistance, referrals and information on the local area to military members and their Families and DOD civilians. HSO maintains lists of local community rental properties, as well as information on homes for purchase. Assistance is provided prior to or upon arrival to West Point. Appointments are suggested. HSO can also assist Soldiers with landlord/tenant issues and lease review.9

Religion: There various types of religion represented that provides broad-based religious support to West Point to enhance community well-being and to facilitate the moral, spiritual, and ethical development of the Corps of Cadets as leaders of character. 6
