PRAYER AND PRAISE
Please pray that the Kindergarten operating in our
facility would truly be a light to the community,
and would be used by God to draw many people
into His Kingdom.
Please pray that the Lord would heal Sharilyn
Mordaunt's dad (Harry) from his cancer, and for
the Mordaunt family as they are apart until lateMarch
Please pray for the leadership and ministry teams
in our church as they seek to help people, young
and old, move from brokenness to wholeness in
Christ through prayer, Sunday School, choir,
dance, and worship.
Please pray for all of the new, and new-ish parents
in our church family as they navigate the many
challenges that a baby brings.

NEWSA very merry Christmas!
Through your very generous gifts given this past Christmas,WHAC has purchased 10 Bibles, 5 Chickens, 2 sheep, 4 beehives, and 1 calf to send to needy families overseas as anexpression of the love of Christ. It's not very often that you getto buys someone a calf for Christmas(!), thank you for contributing!
The Engine Room
This year, the Lord has been stirring the hearts of a number of people at WHAC around prayer, and as a result, focus, andexcitement, and anticipation are all developing. A prayer teamis also being formed, while our prayer nights have been movedto Wednesday nights at 7:30. For more information, please seePhil Ruston.
Table for 6
Facebook is great. Gmail? I love it! But nothing compares withsitting down for a meal with friends and family from church.Table for 6 is a new initiative at WHAC to see that happen.Would you like to host a meal - while not preparing all thefood? Please see Sally Skellon or Esther McKean.
Can't help but sing?
The church choir is always looking for new singers. Maybe youshould be one of them! Practices Sunday following the service.
Sunday, 3rd of March
As the Elders Board seeks to lead us further into fellowshipand community, for one special Sunday, we will be movingfrom rows to circles and tables in a service that featuresworship, discussion and teaching. The topic to be addressedthat weekend has yet to be decided, and suggestions arewelcome.
A Financial Update
Thanks for your generosity in giving, this last term saw us giveto the Lord 98% of our budgeted giving to the Lord. Praise theLord and good for you! This small shortfall, combined with our deficit budget means that we had to dip into our savings for $5,091 so far this financial year, but we are confident that aswe continue to worship the Lord in our giving, and follow Hisplan for our lives and our church, He will supply all of our needs.
You're Invited!
After church on the 3rd of March, some families fromWHAC will be going up to Browns Bay to spend theafternoon at the beach, and YOU are more thanwelcome to come along. Meet by the playground at 2:30,and be sure to bring some nibbles, cricket bats... andsun block!
The Kindy Korner
The church Kindy is off to a flying start, and would love
to have the following good donated:Yogurt potsIce Cream containersButter/margarine containersPlastic bagsNon-perishable food to give to needy families
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Colossians 1:15-20
15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.
He existed before anything was created and is supremeover all creation,[e]
16 for through him God created everything
in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see
and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the
unseen world.
Everything was created through him and for him.17 He existed before anything else,
and he holds all creation together.18 Christ is also the head of the church,
which is his body.
He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. [f]
So he is first in everything.19 For God in all his fullness
was pleased to live in Christ,20 and through him God reconciled
everything to himself.
He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth
by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.
