Since it was established by the UK water industry in 1981, WaterAid and our partners have helped more than 21 million people access safe water and 18 million people access improved toilets. With your continued support we believe everyone, everywhere can have clean water by 2030.

partners has made a lasting difference to some of the world’s poorest communities.

That’s enough to pay for 428 new wells in Mali

It costs just £20 to repair a broken water pump

Last year we reached nearly 37,000 people in Mali with clean water

More than 4 million people in Mali are still living without safe, clean water

Sita lives in Tienfala village, Mali. Every day she collects water for her family. Since the new taps were built in her village, her life has changed: “Before I had to throw a bucket down a hole to collect water and then pull it up. The rope hurt my hands and it was tiring. Now it’s much easier to collect and the water is much cleaner.”

Last year, this raised

Since 1990 it has helped us recruit 23,951 new donors, raising an incredible £11,724,018. That’s enough to help 781,601 people access safe water.
