The casing head housing is provided with threaded or flanged side outlets. In case of the welded flanges, there is a 1/2" LP test thread.

If requested, the casing head housing is delivered with a landing base for a better stability of the equipment. The landing base may be used for all casing head housing sizes.

The casing head housing is attached to the anchoring casing by thread or welding; there are two design variants of the casing head housing:

CASING HEAD HOUSING FOR C22-TYPE SLIP AND SEAL ASSEMBLY

This type of tubing hanger is used for pressure values ranging between 2000 psi and 10,000 psi, being specially utilized for 10,000 psi. The tubing hanger is attached to the bonnet.The tubing head includes the tubing sealing element. The tubing sealing element is located into the spool and fixed by means of the lock screws. Sealing the bonnet and hanger is made by compression which is in its turn got by the hanger weight. The tubing sealing element seals the annular space between the tubing and tubing spool and permits the tubing to be temporarily suspended. The secondary seal may be BREDA or PP-type.


The tubing spool is provided with flanged or threaded side outlets. A BREDA or PP-type seal may be used as a secondary one.

The backpressure valve is a single-way check valve which circulates the fluids outside the tubing into its inside, the blowout being avoided. The backpressure valve is mounted in the tubing hanger by means of a special thread permitting the valve to hold high pressure values without reducing the minimum inner diameter of the hanger significantly. If required, a test plug may be used as follows: the said plug is installed in the backpressure valve fixture to close the tubing both ways for testing the Christmas tree.

POSITIVE AND ADJUSTABLE CHOKE DEVICES

The choke devices adjust the fluid flow rate by means of some orifices or obturators.The adjustable choke device is provided with an orifice whose diameter is variable and the fluid flow rate can thus be controlled permanently.

The most important component is the rod apex which adjusts the fluid flow rate passing through the adjustable choke device with a positive choke. The rod apex consists of an assembly of conical surfaces and it modifies the fluid passage section surface by its displacement up and down the positive choke. The adjustable choke device is provided with a graduated bushing on which the diameter of the fluid passage surface may be read any time.

The most important component of the positive choke device is the positive choke having a passage orifice whose size depends on the desired flow rate.The positive choke device is delivered with a positive choke set whose diameters are those requested by the customer. If the customer does not require the positive choke set through the contract, the device will be delivered with a positive choke of 5 mm diameter.

The materials meet the requirements imposed by the service conditions of the chokes.The materials afferent to the corrosive service conditions meet the requirements imposed by NACE MR0175.The technical conditions, materials, checks, tests and marking shall be in accordance with API 6A requirements.

PARALLEL EXPANDING GATE VALVE ACC. TO API SPEC. 6A

The parallel expanding gate valves acc. to API Spec. 6A requirements are used by the oil industry for neutral or sour fluids (oil, gases, water and drilling mud) and the following pressure classes: 2,000 / 3,000 / 5,000 and 10,000 psi (140 / 210 / 350 and 700 bar).

The most important component of the valve is its closing part, namely the gate, which consists of two elements: gate and segment attached by a spring. During the gate-to-seat sealing, the two inclined faces of the gate and segment slide one another.Rotating the handwheel helps with transmitting up and down movements to the gate by means of the operating stem.

The seats are pressed into the body: in case of those valves being used under neutral service conditions, a teflon ring pressed into each seat represents the seat-to-gate sealing element. In case of sour service conditions, the seat-to-gate sealing is made by a metal-to-metal touch (for example, by hardfacing using stellite 6). A back- or side-installed "0" ring may be used as an additional seal of the seats. Guiding the gate is made between two bonnets mounted on the seats. The materials to be utilized are in accordance with the requirements imposed by the service conditions of the valves.

The materials to be used for corrosive service conditions meet the NACE MR0175 requirements.The technical conditions, materials, checks, tests and marking shall be in accordance with the API Spec. 6A requirements.

GEOTHERMAL GATE VALVE ACC. TO API SPEC. 6A

The geothermal gate valves acc. to API Spec.6A requirements are used by the oil industry for neutral or sour fluids (oil, gases, water and drilling mud), pressure classes: 2,000 / 3,000 and 5,000 psi (140/210/350 bar), temperature classes: X (0 ... 350 F; -18 ... + 180 C) and Y (0 ... 650 F; -18 ... 345 C)

The most important component of the valve is its closing part, namely the gate, which consists of two elements: gate and segment attached by a spring.

During the gate-to-seat sealing, the two inclined faces of the gate and segment slide one another.Rotating the handwheel helps with transmitting up and down movements to the gate by means of the operating stem.The seats are pressed into the body.

The seat-to-gate sealing is made by a metal-to-metal touch (for example, by hardfacing using Stellite 6).Guiding the gate is made between two bonnets mounted on the seats.The materials to be utilized are in accordance with the requirements imposed by the service conditions of the valves.

The materials to be used for corrosive service conditions meet the NACE MR0175 requirements.The technical conditions, materials, checks, tests and marking shall be in accordance with the API Spec.6A requirements.

Minimum informative data to be specified in the inquiry:

valve type;sizes and rated pressure;end connection type and sizes;temperature and service conditions;PSL and PR levels.
