Safety - T3 Quest Program History of T3 EnergyQuestT3 has maintained an excellent safety record with Quest. The Quest program interfaces with Human Resources, Quality and HSE to train employees in safe service practices. Quest strives for continual improvement and fosters a teamwork environment. Their combined standards ensure compliance within the industry.

EH&S ExcellenceSince 2007 we have made significant improvements in our EH&S performance, re-ducing our annual injury rate by over one-half achieving our best safety performance ever recorded in 2008 to .3 from a 2.3 in 2007. We also reduced our lost work time and restricted duty incident rate by 70% between 2007 and 2008. One of the key elements to our sucess was emphasizing individual responsibility for safety and health by all employees and at all levels of management. T3 vision for a sustainable development was hold managers and supervisors responsible for leading, implementing and maintaining safety at their work areas. T3 also maintain an EH&S management system to ensure that performance goals are set and monitored, programs are implemented and audited, and progress is periodically reviewed and communicated with corporate management. This system functions to ensure that this policy is being followed.

The ResultsT3 Energy has gained invaluable benefits with the Quest Program to include a safer work environment and enhanced safety training. Weekly HSE reports are reviewed and discussed in every staff meeting, making safety awareness a top priority. T3 Energy is now more confident that safety knowledge today is at its highest levels.

In 2001, smaller acquisitions were made as T3 merged with Manifold Valve of Jennings, LA. API 6D product lines were gained with purchase of Pipeline Valve (PVS), and Custom Coating Applicators-both of Houston, TX becoming a part of the T3 family. New products included Model 6012 Ram BOP, and Annular BOP Models 7012, 7022, 7082.2004Acquisitions went International with the purchase of Oilco of Nisku, Canada. This acquisi-tion expanded product lines into other geographical markets and customers. T3 became a manufacturer of rubber goods with the purchase of Alberta Rubber Products, Inc. of Canada. New product introduc-tions included Model CVC1ME Electric Actuated Production Choke, Model CVC4MEA Hydraulic Stepping Actuated Production Choke, and Model T3 Drilling Choke. T3 manufactures rubber goods used in oilwell flow control, seals for BOPs and casing/tubing hangers.

Wellhead ProductsShale plays are the emerging giant of the petroleum industry. Over the last 20 years, production from oil shales has doubled. Product Development for recovering this resource is among one of T3 Advanced Engineering’s top priorities.

Among the knowledge base are engineers from several of the largest wellhead service providers. Those familiar with oil/shale deposits in the world, who have already led to the creation of unique advanced technologies, and a highly skilled workforce.

With this solid foundation, the product development team at T3 Wellhead and Production Systems is moving forward with drilling products de-signed for rigorous demands.

The technologies which obtain oil and gas from shale reserves means en-ergy producers require more flexibility and time savers for oil extraction than the more traditional oil production services. These processes require full API compliance as well as rugged and reliable T3 industrial wellheads. T3 manufactures several TimeSaver Wellhead Systems that meet those requirements.

Many applications also require abra-sion resistant sealing components. Here our ownership of T3 Elastomers

(formerly Oilco) of Canada - world renown for its seal technology - gives our customers a unique advantage. These rubber goods and metal-to-metal seals for casing/tubing hangers, valves and chokes are used in our TimeSaver systems.

Custom coatings are also provided in-house at T3 for various wellhead products, valves and chokes per industry requirements. Special interior surface coatings for corrosive/ severe service is made available in-house at T3.

TDS-1 Thru Diverter System uses aconventional slip-type casing hangeras primary means for hanging casing during drilling operations.

The Diverter Attachment Assemblymoves with the rig, reducing inherent dangers involved while working under the Diverter/BOP stack.

TDS I

TDS IITDS-2 combines the fea-tures of TDS-1Thru Diverter System with the TimeSaver-2Unitized Wellhead.

The Diverter Attachment As-sembly can landmultiple casing strings with speed - installation and removal with Slip-n-Lock weldless connection.Depending upon which design is selected, DDV porting.

A fluted mandrel hanger is the primary means for hanging casing. T3 offers four options to allow cement returns to the surface, DDV prep. available.

Emergency Equipment: A conventional slip-type casing hanger and packoff support bushing.

Elastomer and Metal Seals

The conventional o-ring seal is very limited in its ability to bridge large extrusion gaps and remain intact without some kind of anti-extrusion device. T3 has a solution for this situation. T3 seals are designed and

tested to cover a wide range of pressure and temperature applications and service.

The following key design features have been incorporated into All T3 Seal Designs:

• T3 proprietary elastomeric compounds are utilized, rated for all API material classes, including HH which may be used in H2S, or CO2 service; amine resistant.

• Elements within the seals including anti-extrusion components are continuous.

• Anti-extrusion devices are integrally molded into the seal element, making them easier to install and more durable.

• Proper squeeze, volume fill and stretch under all API/T3 tolerance conditions, (i.e., the largest diametric gap possible and the worst-case misalignment of sealing surfaces.

T3 Energy Systems designs, manufactures, and supplies elastomer and metal seals from our state-of-the-art facility in Canada. Designs are for drilling applications, completion applications and wellhead equipment replacement parts. All seals meet stringent design acceptance criteria.

Oilfield elastomers must be reliable for low-pressure, general service or critical-service wells. T3 has developed special compounds and designs for situations that require increased service life and efficiencies.

S-Seal The S-Seal is an interference-type seal utilizing metal coil springs molded integral to the seal corners as anti-extrusion device. The S-Seal is used where there is a machined gap between the sealing bore and shaft (i.e., tubing hanger neck and tubing head adapter bore). There are both OD and ID applications for the S-Seal.

CS-SealThe CS-Seal is an interference seal used to bridge large extrusion gaps associated with sealing rough mill casing (up to 30 in. pipe).

Reducer Bushings

Metal SealsT3 Energy Systems’ patented metal seal design has addressed many issues traditionallyassociated with metal seals today, a technological breakthrough for wellhead equipment.

T3 Energy Systems’ metal seals are rugged enough for oilfield operation, have simpleinstallation procedures, easily tested after installed and are reusable in most cases.

In most applications T3 Energy Systems’ metal seals are “self-energizing” and do notrely on a wedging action, suspended weight or flange make-up force to affect a seal.

T3 M2M Seal Designs:

• Seals meet API Spec. 6A, Appendix F, Performance Requirement Level Two (PR-2) for pressure and temperature cycle testing.

• Rated for all API material classes, including HH which may be used in H2S, or CO2 service; amine resistant.

• Can be made from almost any high-strength steel or corrosion-resistant alloy.

• Used on machined surfaces such as tubing hanger neck to tubing head adapters.

• Made for applications where long life is a requirement (15,000 psi +).

The BO-10 assembly is fitted with a Stub ACME ring for easy installation of large Christmas trees. The TC-1W split, wrap-around packoff is required. Accepts Type “H” back pressure valves, and two-way check valves.

The BO-10 coupling requires the TC-1W wrap-around tubing hanger for annular seal. By design, it is used with a BO-10 Adapter and has a separate

lock ring. This lock ring has stub ACME threads making the BO-10 Coupling the preference when installing large trees or where dissimilar metals

could cause galling problems.

string versatility. API 6A compliant for material, temperature and PSL.

TC-60 Dual Hangerfeatures:
