Welcome to Grace Christian Academy’s Pre-‐School Program! Our new Preh School director is Kim Adams. Mrs. Adams has extensive experience in Pre-School, holds a master’s degree in Education, certified in early childhood and has been trained in Lindamood Bell learning strategies. We are implementing many new and exciting changes this year. Our goal for this program is to nurture and instruct children spiritually, academically, and socially. Abeka Christian curriculum will continue to be used along with numerous handsh on learning activities for students. Lindamoodh Bell reading strategies will be implemented to increase phonemic awareness and reading comprehension skills in order for students to begin learning basic reading skills and to prepare them for a love of learning and reading! Our goal is for students to be able to grow spiritually, socially, and academically throughout the year by implementing both exciting and challenging activities. We want students to be well prepared for school and to enjoy learning, and most importantly, to have a Christ centered education.
Our K3 program will provide parents with numerous
opportunities for their children, such as ½ day for three or five days a week and also full day for three or five days a week. Our K3 teachers have many
years’ experience and knowledge in working with Pre-‐School children. Their love and expertise in
teaching is very evident through the academic and social growth that their students’ make each year. Our K4 program will also be offered for ½ day or full
day, five days a week, and our K5 program will be offered five full days a week. All of our K4-‐K5 teachers hold a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree
in education and are highly qualified in these areas. Your children are a precious gift from God, and we would feel very blessed to have the opportunity to
teach them.
