Specific Ride information:

Breakdown Crews 434-865-5602Breakdown Crews are NOT available after

We arrive at Our Destinations. “Road Captains” will be placed at intervals within the procession. Road Captains will be designated by their vests. Doing this allows for guided communication between the front, middle and back of the ride. The ride will start out at 35 mph and stay at that pace until the entire group is going 35 MPH. Once we ALL achieve 35 MPH we will increase the speed accordingly. This is NOT a race, THIS IS A MEMORIAL RIDE. We are all going to the same place. We do this in remembrance of the events of September 11, 2001. We are paying tribute to fallen HEROES and to all those who lost their lives that tragic day, while raising money to support First Responders. Escorting officers and those from the local communities are here to assist us in moving safely to our next stop. Please do what they ask; the foundation will not accept ANY disrepect to any officer.

All participants MUST wear helmets throughout the entire ride, regardless of helmet laws in individual states. This is a MEMORIAL RIDE. Actions such as “burn outs”, performing stunts, etc. is considered disrespectful and dangerous and will not be tolerated. This is especially true as we pass the actual 9/11 sites – our presence serves as a reminder to the general public on the street. We want them to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice – not the dangerous dumb biker doing a burnout! If at anytime your actions are unsafe you will be pulled from the ride and banned from future events, without any refund. Drinking of alcohol while the ride is active is Prohibited.

The Pumper Crews will be assisting us as we fuel; doing this moves the group much faster. Once fueled, PLEASE follow their directions.

As the ride moves down the roadways, cars may become present. We are trying to keep the group tight; please aviod creating a space in which cars can enter the procession. If thishappens, please avoid any encounter with the vehicle(s) as they might be exiting the roadway. When the vehicle exits or moves out of the lane, tighten any gaps which might have occured. Our number one goal is to arrive SAFELY at our destinations.

If you break down: Check to see if it is clear to move out of the group. DO NOT JUST PULL OUT LOOK FIRST DO NOT CUT ACROSS TRAFFIC. If we are in the LEFT lane move over to the LEFT shoulder If we are in the RIGHT lane move over to the RIGHT shoulder

AS ALWAYS RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISKPage 5
