Use the brush that is most comfortable for you to paint the area that you are painting.

PREP:Wipe wood with soft lint free rag. Sand lightly with 400 grit sand paper. Wipe off dust.

Basecoat with Multi-Purpose Sealer, Dry. Sand again and wipe off all dust.

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONSTrace design onto tracing paper. Lay Graphite be-neath tracing paper. Transfer major design only using stylus.

Top HatBasecoat top hat Lamp Black. Dry brush Titanium White.

Basecoat hat band True Red. Shade Napa Red. High light Neon Pink. Basecoat Holly Leaves Hauser green. Shade Black green. High light Hauser Green light. Paint thin Black Green veins in each leaf.

Basecoat berries True Red, Shade Alizarin Crimson. High light Neon Pink. Add a tiny Titanium White dot in each berry.

Snowman Basecoat the entire Snowman’s body True Blue.

Basecoat the scarf True Red.

Shade the scarf Napa Red. High light Pumpkin. After the scarf is dry use the small Hearts and Stars stencil and stencil design on the scarf.

Transfer the design onto the body.

Basecoat the House True Red, Shade Napa Red, High light Pumpkin. Basecoat the roof and windows Lamp Black. Outline each window with Titanium White, Dry brush the roof with Titanium White.

Stipple the trees and bushes Lamp Black. Stipple the clouds Titanium White.

Then stipple some tree and bushes shapes with Black Green. High light with Hauser green, Hauser Green light and Sour Apple.

Using a small Deerfoot brush pick up Titanium White and stipple the face and body. Dry. Transfer the design.

Pick up French Grey Blue and stipple the eye area,

stipple and shade beneath the hat, along the bottom of the body, beneath the Holly leaves and along the small rolling hills.

Paint the coal eyes Lamp Black. Pull out thin eyelashes and paint an eyebrow. Add a Titanium White dot in each eye.

Paint the nose Pumpkin. Shade Burnt Sienna. High light Cadmium Yellow Outline Lamp Black.

Paint a thin Lamp Black mouth line. Pick up a small amount of True Red on you fi nger and rouge the cheeks.

Holly LeavesBasecoat the Holly Leaves Hauser Green. Shade Black Green. High light Sour Apple. Paint the berries True Red. Shade Alizarin Crimson. High light Neon Pink.

Add a small Titanium White dot in each berry. Paint a thin vein of Sour Apple in each leaf. Pull out thin Lamp Black lines at the end of each berry. Paint a few curly cues of Lamp Black.

FINISHPaint the words WELCOME WINTER using a 10/0 liner and Lamp Black.

Pick up some Titanium White on an old toothbrush and fl eck the entire Snowman.

Dry well. Varnish with 2 coats of Varnish.
