LEARN TO TAKE BETTER PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE BEAUTIFUL NORTH OKANAGAN Join Professional Photographer Darren Robinson as you gain the skills, techniques and knowledge necessary to vastly improve your imagery. We’ll start with basic camera functions, composition, lighting, accessories, and working with subjects. Then, you’ll head you out into the field for some hands-on learning in Enderby, BC. Lastly, you’ll learn all about the final phase of creating impactful images with a workshop dedicated to post-production! Join in on one, or all three of these spring workshops! CAMERA BASICS: This 2-hour theory-based session covers basic camera functions, composition, lighting, aperture, ISO, shutter speed, essential gear, creative approaches and working with subjects. Cost is $40 per person (includes tax). FIELD INSTRUCTION: With basic theory in mind, we will head out into the field for this 4-hour hands-on session where we will expand on the knowledge already acquired. There is no better way to learn than in the field! Cost is $65 per person (includes tax). Camera Basics session highly recommended but not essential if you have sound fundamental knowledge of basic principles above. Location to be pre-determined closer to workshop date. POST-PRODUCTION: With an emphasis on Photoshop, this 2-hour session is all about the often forgotten stage of photography; post-production. Darren started Focus On The Rockies, a photography workshop that brought world-class photographers, such as Daryl Benson, John Marriott and Darwin Wiggett, together to instruct novice and intermediate participants on improving their photography skills. Darren’s images have been featured in many tourism-based marketing pieces, ad campaigns and websites.
