Performance Management Network

As Women’s Council’s official REALTOR® designation, the Performance Management Network provides the real-world skills that you need to face in an evolving market. Designed by some of real estate’s best and brightest minds, our courses dig deep into the hot topics that are driving the market and shaping your business.

PMN Designation Requirements

Following are the requirements to obtain Women’s Council of Realtors Performance Management Network Designation, which is an official REALTOR® Designation. 1. Must be a REALTOR®, REALTOR-Associate® or REALTOR® Association Executive. 2. Must successfully complete at least three Performance Management Network courses.

* To receive credit for “At Home with Diversity,” you must submit a copy of your certificate via fax to Women’s Council of Realtors' Education Department at 312-329-3290. 3. Must submit documented evidence of closed referral transactions (sales) within the past 24 months totaling 30 points as follows. Examples of documentation include company referral form, copy of check, client lists or signed statement from broker. Be sure to include closing date and information.

Women’s Council of REALTORSⓇ Stuart-Martin County 2018 Project Team Responsibilities

Program and Events Project Team ● Plan business resource programs that will increase your member’s productivity and

income. ● Plan and develop programs for Network meetings consistent with the needs of the

members. The impact of the Women’s Council of REALTORSⓇ on the members increases when each Local Network provides meaningful education for a more professional and successful career in real estate.

● Carry out program plans completing arrangements for speakers, panelists, etc. ● Evaluate programs’ impact and success. ● Inform members of educational opportunities offered by the Local Board, State

Association, NAR Affiliates, and by nearby educational institutions. Finance and Budget Project Team

● Prepare an annual budget for approval by the Governing Board. ● Review budget and actual expenditures with the Treasurer as needed. ● Plan and conduct fundraising programs as needed, including funds to enable the Local

President and President-Elect to attend national meetings. Membership Project Team

● Plan a Network membership campaign that encourages and challenges members to recruit new members.

● Plan for recognition of new members at Network meetings and online. ● Retain existing members and re-recruit “dropped” members. ● Notify National WCR of changes of status or address of members. ● Compile and send a print, email, or web based Network Roster to all members. ● Before distributing membership applications to prospective members, complete the dues

amounts on the application and the name of your Network. These steps will ensure speedier and more accurate processing by the National Women’s Council of REALTORSⓇ.

● Pre-qualify candidates for National Strategic Partner membership - make sure your Network is under the 30% limit and the individual holds membership in a Local Board of REALTORSⓇ.

Nominating Project Team / Candidate Review Project Team ● Fulfill obligations of Network bylaws Article VIII Nominations. Must be elected at Annual

Election Meeting to serve the following calendar year. Service on this project team is limited to REALTORⓇ/REALTOR-AssociateⓇ members.

Ways and Means Project Team

● Assumes from Finance & Budget Project Team the responsibility to conduct fundraising programs.

● Raises funds to enable the officers to attend national and state meetings. Marketing Project Team

● Promote and maintain a favorable image of the Women’s Council of REALTORSⓇ in the eyes of our various publics.

● Prepare and submit media releases to publicize Network activities and achievements as required.

● Plan and prepare communications (meeting notices, newsletter) for the membership. ● Coordinate a photographic or video record of Network activities, for history and publicity.

Strategic Planning Project Team (Option of Network) Special Project Teams (Network’s Choice) Special Project Teams must not consist of fewer than three (3) members. Audit Project Team

● Conduct an audit of the Treasurer’s records at least two weeks prior to the final Network meeting of the year and report on the completed audit.

Awards and Recognition Project Team

● Plan and coordinate visible symbols of appreciation. Hospitality Project Team

● Welcome newcomers to Network meetings and introduce them to the members. ● Encourage unity and friendship within the Network. ● Communicate on behalf of the Network with members who are ill or bereaved.

Newsletter Project Team (May be handled by Marketing Project Team instead.) Reservation/Attendance Project Team

● Record reservations for Network Meetings and report as required. In some Networks, arrange meeting place and menu, responsible for reservations equaling guarantee.

Member of the Year Award Project Team

● Leader is award recipient from previous year. Project team selects recipient following guidelines and dates established by State Member of the Year Project Team if the Local Network intends to submit that name to the State project team for consideration as State Member of the Year.

Entrepreneur of the Year Award

● Award winner is selected by a special project team chaired by the most immediate past president able to serve. Current LCP serves and appoints 3 REALTORⓇ/REALTOR-AssociateⓇ members and 2 REALTORⓇ/REALTOR-AssociateⓇ alternates. The Project Team will distribute a Call for Nominations at meetings, in network newsletter, on website, etc. The Project Team must submit name of award winner as well as the winning member’s award application form to National Women’s Council of REALTORSⓇ by December 1. See Awards criteria online in Chapter Tools.

POSITION President

General Oversight/Scope of Duties: Provides leadership and direction for the Network, keeping her team focused on the mission of the Council and the Network business plan. Acts as the local voice for the Women’s Council brand, articulating the value of the Network, representing the Network with related groups, and setting the tone for active member involvement.

Major Responsibilities:

● Preside over focused, productive meetings of the Governing Board and membership

● Work with the Governing Board to develop, implement and monitor the Network

Business Plan

● Encourage and inspire members to get involvement, and recognize contributions

● Cultivate development of future leaders for the Network

● Mentor, train, support and provide leadership opportunities for the President-elect to

facilitate a smooth transition in leadership

● Build and maintain relationships with the Local Association and related industry and

community groups

● Work with the Governing Board to evaluate Network progress and performance on

● Support Program Director and Membership Director in delivering quality programs and

building and retaining a solid base of REALTOR® members

● Cultivates and manages relationships with Strategic Partners, ensuring a high level of

● Assists the President in tracking Network progress and performance, identifies areas

for continued improvement and considers related goals for inclusion in the Network

Business Plan in the coming year.

● Appoints the Secretary, with ratification by the Governing Board.

POSITION Treasurer

General Oversight/Scope of Duties: Ensures strategies and systems are in place to support the financial health and integrity of the Network. Ensure proper reporting and Network compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations impacting non-profit organizations.

Major Responsibilities:

● Maintains Network financial records, tracks transactions, and reports regularly on

Network financial performance.

● Handles receipts and disbursements, ensuring proper controls in place.

● Works with the Governing Board to develop proposed annual budget.

● Ensures Network state and federal taxes are filed annually, and provides full support

for Network financial reviews.

POSITION Program Director

General Oversight/Scope of Duties: Ensures the development and delivery of timely, relevant, business-oriented Network educational and networking events that attract a high level of participation from members and the industry at large.

Major Responsibilities:

● Produces four Network industry events.

● Coordinates and implements marketing strategies for a high level of exposure for

Network events within the industry.

● Develops and manages systems to routinely scan the industry environment to identify

business needs and issues.

● Produces a minimum of two additional events focused on member networking and

POSITION Membership Director

General Oversight/Scope of Duties: Conducts an aggressive outreach strategy to communicate the value of the Network and the Women’s Council brand, engaging prospective, new and renewing members.

Major Responsibilities:

● Develops and implements a member recruitment and retention strategy to grow the

REALTOR® membership base within the Network.

● Supports and follows through on all National Council membership marketing

campaigns.

● Works with the Governing Board to establish membership recruitment and retention

goals as part of the Network Business Plan.

● Oversees implementation of a new member welcome and orientation strategy, as well

as a first-year member communication strategy, using tools and resources provided.

● Oversees implementation of a member communication ‘drip’ system, using tools and

resources provided.

● Monitors and supports development of Strategic Partner benefits packages.
