Freight SegmentWabtec’s Freight segment is a leader in freight solutions for the rail industry.

This includes a comprehensive line of locomotives, including the most efficient diesel-electric fleet in the world, digital solutions and a broad selection of

mission-critical controls, including Positive Train Control (PTC), cabin, and advanced braking systems. We have over 23,000 locomotives in our global installed base.

Our freight solutions meet the total lifecycle needs of the entire fleet: from new locomotives, to modernizations, service and repairs.

Other SegmentsAlong with our portfolio of products and solutions for the rail and transit industries, Wabtec is also a leader in mining equipment, marine, stationary power, drill, and industrial solutions.

For the automotive industry, Wabtec offers turbochargers and motorcycle brake pads and shoes. Additionally, Wabtec custom manufactures rubber products and cast parts according to customer specifications.

Transit SegmentWabtec’s Transit segment provides products to virtually every major rail transit system, supplying an integrated series of components for commuter and metro cars, as well as buses, that deliver safety, efficiency and passenger comfort.

We offer an extensive array of products, from pneumatic, electronic and hydraulic brake equipment, to HVAC and sanitation systems. Each product draws upon Wabtec’s deep experience in tailoring components to meet the specific needs of customers, manufactured using the latest technologies.
