At MIKRO+POLO, we have been following and realizing our mission of solving every problem our customer might encounter in the experimental environment of their laboratory for more than 25 years now.

We have 75 employees who make sure that the link between more than 4000 buyers on one side and 300 suppliers on the other is a successful one. A high level of professional competence is achieved by employing 25 sales representatives, each of them having a university degree in various fields:

We take particular pride in our own manufacture of laboratory furniture with which we have equipped more than 400 laboratories in Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Russia, and other countries around the globe.

The company was created from two successful firms:MIKRO - a manufacturer of processing and pool equipment,POLO - a manufacturer of laboratory equipment.

Over the years of the company’s operation, we have developed our own programme of laboratory and processing equipment, accessories and chemicals for development, research, and diagnostic laboratories, apparatus manufacturing, design and execution of laboratory construction works, laboratory furniture manufacturing, and full servicing and validation of apparatuses and equipment sold.

Since the very beginning, laboratories have been the major axis of our activities. This is also true today when we proudly claim to be the biggest and most important supplier to laboratories in Slovenia.

We provide integrated solutions to cover almost every need in any kind of a laboratory, cooperating with the world's most renown producers from USA, Europe and Japan.

Our main strengths are: Laboratory chemicals, including reference materials. Microscopy, including electron microscopy. Microbiology. Water analysis (including on-line measurement systems). In-vitro diagnostics, especially related to infective diseases,

anticoagulant treatment monitoring, drugs of abuse and electrophoresys.

At Mikro+Polo, we have our own accredited calibration laboratory at our disposal. Accreditation means determining and recognizing the technical competence of a laboratory on the basis of known criteria, i.e. standards and amendments. Demonstration of that can be recognized in the Slovenian accreditation certificate.

We provide the following calibration services:

ACCREDITED CALIBRATIONSPerformed according to the requirements of the SIST EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005, Slovenian Accreditation Certificate No. LK-023:

TEMPERATURE CALIBRATION Temperature calibration is performed by the method of comparison,

in the range of -30 °C to +280 °C for: liquid-in-glass thermometers, self-indicating thermometers, thermostatic chambers, freezers, sterilizers, temperature chambers,

water baths, autoclaves (the range of -30 °C to +150 °C).

CHEMICAL VARIABLE CALIBRATIONS WITH SIMULATION Chemical variable calibrations are performed by the method

of comparison, without using a probe, by a SKL2 simulator for: pH measuring equipment, oxygen concentration measuring equipment, conductivity measuring equipment.

CALIBRATION OF HUMIDITY MEASURING EQUIPMENT within the range of 10 % to 95 %, temperature calibration using the PL.KP-6 procedure.

“Špajza” is a simple consignment storage containing products that are key to uninterrupted everyday work. The product range is unlimited. By including the “Špajza” service, the products are automatically in stock. You will receive the invoice upon use of the products, so there is no need for stock financing.
