Welcome to the O’Neal Community

O’Neal is a college preparatory school dedicated to the development of academic excellence, strength of

character, and physical well-being of its students in an environment

where integrity, self-discipline and consideration for others are

fundamental.

A Generous Community Supports O’Neal’s Mission

Educating a child requires more than an outstanding faculty and curriculum - it requires generous parental involvement. For generations, this dedicated community of alumni, parents, faculty, students and friends has embraced this remarkable school. That devotion and commitment enables the School to continually deliver on its mission. We invite you to be actively involved in our community.

FINANCIAL SUPPORTO’Neal is an independent school and receives NO outside funding. Each year, tuition dollars are supplemented with tax-deductible giving from the O’Neal Fund and the Annual Auction to provide a quality educational experience for every student.

The School encourages each family to give to the O’Neal Fund according to their means, with the hope that every family will find a way to help. Each contribution makes a difference in the life of a student.

The School hopes that each family will participate in the Annual Auction. Families may donate an item, become an underwriter through our Business Alliance Program, or attend this fun-filled event. Funds raised through the Auction support the School’s operating budget consisting mainly of faculty salaries, benefits and professional development opportunities.

We support the O’Neal Fund because we will forever be indebted to the teachers of the O’Neal School for helping our children with their transition from high school to college by teaching them how to get involved, approach the professors and how to study and budget their time.

CAPITAL NEEDS and MAJOR GIFTSFrom time to time, funds are needed for capital projects and endowment initiatives. These funds can significantly enhance and improve facilities, faculty salaries and financial aid.

Your support of capital projects to the best of your ability can make a positive difference. Because the O’Neal Fund covers immediate operating expenses, it is asked that you make it your philanthropic priority and that capital gifts be made in addition to your gift to the O’Neal Fund.

We feel that we are not just sending our kids to school, but that they have become part of a community that we know will nurture and support them during some of the most important years of their lives. For this reason, we do our part to contribute to O’Neal by volunteering and giving. Roberta and Steve King O’Neal Parents, 2010 Auction Chairs

What are the ways support can be offered?• Cash or Check • Give Online • Stocks & Securities • Planned Gifts

Gifts of appreciated property such as gifts of stock, real estate and other personal property may net an income tax deduction for full fair market value. This is especially helpful to people who have assets which cost less then their current value.
