Van Buren High School Project Graduation is proud to sponsor the 2015 Miss Teeny – (3 thru 5 years), Miss Petite – (Kindergarten & 1st grade), Miss Tiny – (2nd & 3rd grade), Miss Little – (4th & 5th grade),Miss Junior – (6th, 7th & 8th grade) Van Buren. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, February 22, at 2:00 PM at the Van Buren Fine Arts Center. The entry fee of $35 includes 1 admission and a gift for the contestant. Deadline for entry is Friday, February 13. Applications may be picked up in the library @ Northridge Middle School.

If you are currently in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade and are interested in trying out for cheer or dance teams at the middle school or Freshman Academy level, there will be a Technique Clinic on Saturday, February 21, @ the VBHS Saferoom. 9:00 – 11:00 for current 6th and 7th graders (those trying out for middle school) & 12:00 – 2:00 for current 8th graders (those trying out for freshman academy). Cost is $10 cash only (no checks). This clinic is recommended for those trying out, but is NOT required. Come and brush up on the specific techniques and skill that will help you do your very best the week of tryouts!!! Flyers are in the library.
